This is a beautiful and good quality product. I was surprised by the weight of it, it's very sturdy and doesn't feel cheaply made. It comes in a cute case and the piece itself is a good size.I bought it as an anniversary gift for my husband and he loves it. Now if he gets lost in the woods he can his way back!

Bigger than expected...
I bought this as a wedding gift for my husband. I liked the color...the brass was aged and looked quality. The engraving was well done and deep. The overall size of the compass was surprising. It felt bulky and much too large for the use. I think making it a bit smaller would make it more elegant.The compass came with a box, but it looked cheap. I ended up ordering a new leather pouch to elevate it as a special gift.
