Does the job
I make espresso every morning using a human-powered apparatus and its matching human-powered grinder. Okay, electric kettle to heat the water. I do this with both regular and decaf coffee, which all works well. Except. With my favorite decaf beans there is a major static charge after grinding, with the ground coffee sticking to everything. Annoying and a bit wasteful. But if I give my 16 g of beans two doses of mist with the Normcore, just before dumping them into the grinder, there is almost no static build-up after grinding. Much nicer. So even my decaf espresso can be great.

Hard to mess up a spray bottle...
Yeah it's a spray bottle. But it's normcore so I had to buy it.Works great for its intended purpose. Reducing static.I think why people buy this over cheaper RDT Bottles is in hope of it matching the rest of their normcore products. It does not disappoint.Happy spraying

Well built Sprayer for RDT
Best I've come across. Sometimes the second spray isn't quite as robust as the first. I think you need to be a little patient between sprays to allow it to reload.

Fine mist.
As others have pointed out, it does seem to make a finer mist than most spray bottles. Noticeably less static and the bottle is built well.

Well made, but not sure of the whys of this...
This is one of those espresso tools I had no idea that I was supposed to need. And since I happen to love trying out new espresso tools, I figured I’d give it a try and probably wind up seeing why I need this. Welp, I tried it, and I’m clueless with this one. It could be my grinder’s fault - I feel like it’s very near retirement and has almost given up - or it could be I had my espresso setting one or two clicks finer than I normally set it…I don’t know. There were too many different variables and all I know is that I wound up with an espresso explosion with mucky grinds e v er y w h e r e (I did manage to catch the portafilter before it hit the ground, amazingly enough, without getting burnt or hurt)(my shirt can testify to said explosion. It has the coffee stains to prove it). No I do not think it was the mister’s fault, though I certainly cannot tell you why it’s “needed”, that is for sure. But I can tell you that it is very well made from seemingly high quality materials (though I do wish the sprayer was metal to go along with the high quality of the rest of it. I will say the plastic is higher quality than your average sprayer, for sure!), looks fantastic and quite scientific and like you know exactly why it’s there and what it’s for…even if you don’t. It also gives off the finest spray mist ever there was. With that being said, I am sure you’ll understand when I say, I think I recommend this? (For those of you who absolutely know what you’re doing and the whys along with the science behind it, then this is THE sprayer you probably want. For the rest of the me’s out there, mmmm…maybe no, or fill it, put it by your espresso bar and when someone asks, tell them it’s a mister with super complicated science behind it, smile, and make your espresso as you usually do)(that will be the route I’m going).

A little bit of extravagance.
Great little bottle for RDT. I know I could have found a less expensive option, but I like that this is made out of glass, and in black, it fits the aesthetic of my coffee bar well. A little bit extravagant…but I like it.

Functional & Aesthetic
Not a lot of other options for a matte black RDT bottle. The spray functions well and makes very small drops when spraying at the appropriate distance, for consistent results. Must have for coffee enthusiast who has the matte black aesthetic.
