For cleaning the windows in our home and our cars we've tried all the store-brand window cleaners (e.g., Windex) and they simply do not work in the long run. We have high-quality Pella windows and lots of sun exposure.Using the store-brand variety always results in streaking and fogging a few days later. I believe this is due to the inferior brands leaving residues on the glass, and then out-gases and particulates from the outdoors and inside the home or car adhere to the residue over time, causing a build-up that appears as fogging and streaking. This is especially true for windows with direct and constant sun exposure.Not so with Invisible Glass. We did an experiment side-by-side against Windex. Within a day the Windex-treated window started to show streaks and fogging, however, the window right next to it that was cleaned with Invisible Glass is still very clear weeks later. This product works and it works very well. Much less window cleaning, and the glass has a very high luster sparkle to it. The whole family agrees. Trick is to use very clean and soft cotton towels (don't use fabric softeners, wash them in hot water, and dry them in the dryer so they are soft). I use one towel to make a pass or two to get the heavy stuff, and then another towel to make a pass or two for the final cleaning and polishing. I only do a few windows and they replace the towels with new ones. Don't try to clean a whole house with one towel - you will waste your time, so always use clean towels!
