Good long wooden stick came in a giant box. Works as expected. Sturdy wooden handle.

The media could not be loaded. I ordered this handle to fit onto a newly purchased hoe head. The handle is very sturdy, was very easy to fit to the head (trimming a bit off the end to accommodate the hoe head opening, following the product advice), and feels very strong in my hands as I work. It looks very good as well, and takes a great deal of abuse, as I apply a lot of pressure and shock while removing heavy vegetation/weeds. This handle should work splendidly with any hoe, shovel or other garden implement, whether fitting to a brand new tool or used as a replacement handle. It is superb! Please watch accompanying video.

Well formed, good wood, mine was stamped "mountain ash" and that is what it appears to be.

I expect this to last for a lot of years. I used it with a paintbrush taped to the end for painting before it ever got used for its intended purpose, which to replace a broken metal tine rake handle, the claw type of rake vs the leaf raking type. My husband was in charge of that installation, but I didn’t hear any complaints. It looks and feels like a better quality handle than nearly all of our other lawn implements. I’m thrilled that I don’t expect to ever ever get a splinter from this.

I ordered the Rocky Mountain Goods Replacement Wood Shovel Handle 54” - Strong Hardwood Handle to replace wood handle on a garden pitchfork that I have had for about 15 years. I believe this handle is surprisingly stronger than the original handle that came with the pitchfork. I have no doubt this handle would work well for any tool that may put stress on the handle.The Rocky Mountain Goods Replacement Wood Handle came in perfect shape and its well sanded, so no splinters anywhere on the handle. I did have to make some adjustments to make the handle fit the opening of the tool, but that was to be expected and having the correct tools for the job made this an easy task.So far, I am very pleased with this handle, I won't be using the tool until the Spring and Summer months, but I gave it a quick test by loosening some soil in the garden and the handle is solid. This is a great replacement wood handle that I would recommend and will gladly order it again when I need to replace the handle for another tool.
