Great timer for the classroom
I actually got this timer to use in a fifth grade classroom to time oral presentations. It works absolutely perfectly for that. It only takes a couple minutes to figure out how to use it. It's bright, the remote works pretty good, and its loud. Downsides include the fact that the magnet, while okay, is not very strong. If you have a slick surface, the timer will slide down if you don't have a secondary way of propping it up. Another downside is that the remote is optical and MUST have a line of sight to the device. What's more, the remote only works from about 15 feet away or closer. That said, those two downsides are well within what I expected from the description and reviews. Another thing: the battery life seems good. Granted, I don't use it constantly as you might in a gym. But have used it daily over the course of about 3 months, and have still not yet needed to charge the battery. Great product.

Great timer
This little timer is a great design and functions as it should. The display is easy to see with different levels of brightness. Battery life is good, only have had to charge every couple of weeks.Only reason it gets 4 stars is because the remote can have connectivity problems if the clock is higher up.

Great Functionality
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Overall it has great functionality. I didn't have the highest of expectations on this clock but I like that it retains the proper time if you turn off and on the clock. The magnetic is also pretty good because I use it to connect to workout machine to see my interval times.

Just do it....
This is by far the best simple option I've found. The magnet holds to my cage really well, and the remote is quick and easy to use. Battery life is great and will last most of the week for workouts. Can't recommend enough for the price.

Too complicated
Others were right, too complicated; poor instructions, video links not well done. I'm not going to spend my time getting a timekeeper to work easily. After nearly an hour, sending it back.
