Not sure if this is an original Nikon product but it really doesn't matter as this is a quality item. It worked without any problems and will serve as a useful spare. Recommended if you have lost your original cable or just want a spare to use at another location. The product arrived in a padded envelope and well within the time stated by the seller. Excellent service.
