Strong and easy to install.
This product came in pairs, so I installed one in the shower area, and on the wall just as you step out. Easy to install and very will built. Remember its always best if you can locate a interior stud for the best installation. I did not use the provided plastic inserts. I screwed directly into a stud.

Love the bars hate the mounting screws
These are supposed to be safety grab bars not a decoration. If you love them like I do, you will need to beef up the mounting screws. Tiny aluminum screws wouldn't be very safe. I hope these don't break after getting better screws!

Easy to install Grab Bars
Having Grab bars for your shower are a nice addition and great safety feature to help you stay safe. My mother had a stroke a few years ago and I learned about grab bars when she came home. We had them installed at her house and when I seen these for review I had to jump on them as I’m not getting younger and I have slipped in my own shower here at my house. At first I was at a loss in how to find the studs to mount these. So off to YouTube I went so you don’t have to. Magnets seriously, using a magnet helps you find where the studs are. Now you need a stacked Neodymium magnet to help find a screw or nail head so you can see where the stud is so you can have a good solid spot to put your screws to make sure this is solid. I was able to put 2 of 3 screws on each end of the horizontal one and all 3 on the vertical one and both feel decent mainly the vertical one. Just a tiny wiggle on the horizontal one and I think it’s due to the way the handle is attached to the wall. The disk where the screws go through is a little thin, I feel if it had been thicker this would not be an issue. But hopefully it stands the test of time . (update to review) I got to use these. OK really nice the texture on them is kinda soft and a little slippery but I did to have an issue with that when I gripped the horizontal one while I cleaned my feet. The first time I have been that stable washing my feet. Really nice I like it.. And think these will do well for my shower.

Excellent handle to apply in areas where steps are needed
My original intent was to install in my bathroom to help me from getting down from my shower stall as well as being able to pull up when I'm sitting, but I think I have a different use for them. My back porch has a patio that we built so that I would be able to descend from the porch, and join my family whenever we had bonfires. The original intent was to build ramps, but instead we chose to use smaller steps so that the incline would not be as bad for me to step up or down, as I have lower leg weakness. It is currently our intent to mount them on the 4x4 posts next to where those steps are at now.Things that I like:1. They're incredibly well made and powder coated with a black matte finish that will allow for them to accent the existing paint that we have, and also help more than just me as we occasionally have parties where alcohol is served, and those steps are sometimes a challenge2. All the hardware to complete the installation was included with the package and appears to be a great value for the money. It's one of those things where we're not sure how much it would cost to buy.3. Ease of installation- there are many things that I depend on other people to do the installs for me when I get products to do Vine reviews for, this is based more around Mobility or the lack of it, but this one was incredibly easy to install and I did it sitting at a chair with a drill and a screwdriver. Not difficult at all to get them up and running in less than 30 minutes.Things that I didn't like1. The grip - the problem with the grip has nothing to do with the way that was constructed as much as it is when you compare it against other grab bars that are used throughout the industry. Let's grab bars usually have a textured surface that allows for you to get a handhold and not slip. During the time that I was installing these, we got into a rain shower and I needed to get up and move inside. I finished the install and then start to use them, but noted that the grip was slippery and this was them fresh out of the box. I prefer the textured patterns that other manufacturers use that allow your hand to get a better hold.To put it simply they serve the purpose it was necessary to get me from the bottom of the three small steps and onto my porch from my patio. They do this well, it does take some forethought on where to position them for the range of people that you're going to have who will be using them. As I'm not the only guy planning to use them, we'll need to see what others think as we move forward when it's missing that grippy type of pattern that is cut into the steel. These aren't designed differently than many others that are seen in the industry, and they give me the freedom to actually use my yard again without having to take my Walker up and down those steps. For that purpose I recommend them, but I'm not sure that I would want them in my shower knowing the fact that my hand may slip down while I'm descending on to my tile floor. By the way I really do like the fact that these are only 16 inches long. One of the many things that you see is where people use long grab bars to do the same purposes these. These are just a really nice accent piece for someone like me or someone that's had too much to drink.
