It is also possible, however, that this is a variety that ripens later in the year. Some varieties do not get ripe until December. There may also be a weather component stalling ripening. Natural fertilizers do require a moderately warm soil temperature to function effectively, but we’d assume that Phoenix soil is still pretty warm this time of year.
