This is my new favorite welding gadget. It is very easy to install on a dremel tool and was a perfect fit. It is easy to remove if you need to repurpose. It works much like any screw on attachment you would use on a dremel and uses the standard collet size. As another customer mentioned it works best with a lighter effort and produces a very nice , sharp point. If you have a seldon used dremel laying around it will make for an inexpensive useful tool.

This is all you need if you are just learning to TIG. Fitted it on a Milwaukee M12 Rotary Tool and sharpened all my tungsten. Works great and gives you a lot of options. Nice and sturdy too, made from aluminum.

I bought this for my dremel I use in my jewelry business and it works perfectly for what I need to make sure I get my tungsten sharpened at the right angle.

Just received this tungsten electrode sharpener and at first I was VERY impressed with the quality of the grinder head and with the number of sharpening wheels that came with it. However, after assembly, I went to sharpen some tungsten electrodes, and when I turned on my Dremel, I thought it was going to vibrate right out of my hand! The diamond wheels that came with the unit are severely lacking in quality (balance); they are not anywhere near the quality that you would expect, especially looking at the quality of the grinder head. Since the Dremel was limited in speed due to vibrations, it took me longer than it should have to sharpen my tungsten electrodes. The accuracy of the angles in grinder head are pretty good and after finishing the grinding, it appeared that the sharpened electrodes had a slight swirl marking (as opposed to a straight in-line grind) due to the way that the tungsten was hitting the grinding wheel (not too sure how this will affect the arc during welding). I guess, for the price, it is worth it. The actual grinder head is much larger than I expected and a little heavier too, but overall, I like it. If somehow they could manage to provide a quality (BALANCED) grinding wheel(s) I would have given it a 5 star rating.

Sharpening disks wear out almost immediately and only have a very thin coating of abrasive material. The rest of it works fine, but ended up buying different disks for sharpening.
