Very tight fit
Took a little work to get together it's a very tight fit,But once together it feels very strong as good as the oem housing

Very poorly made
Oh boy, where to start.Just FYI, I have included pictures that compare this product to the original key fob.I swear it's as if the individual pieces of this product were not manufactured to fit each other, let them the key you're supposed to be putting it.For starters, once you destroy your original key fob to get the key out, it does not fit into the little piece of plastic that you're supposed to shove it into for this cheap ahh thing. I had to file down of the plastic of the little keyhole and the metal on my key so that it would fit.Then when you gotta put the casing together, it turns out that little piece of plastic that you had to shove your key into is too big for the casing and the seam do not sit flush whatsoever. I had to file down a significant portion of plastic on the little thing that holds your key in place so that I could get it closed, but it still does not sit flush. (Pictures are included)It also takes some of the length off of your key, and the buttons are far more recessed than they are on the original fob which make them more difficult to press.Overall is just a very badly made product. I mean, I guess you get what you pay for, but I also didn't expect such a simple piece of plastic to be manufactured so poorly, even at this price point.I'm definitely going to have to get a different fob.Save yourself the hassle and just get one from a Lexus dealer's parts department.

Doesn't Fit My Key
It seems well made & it should work for my Lexus but the key blade won't fit through the slot so I can't screw it together.

Save Money, DIY
You have to use a tiny philips screwdriver, and I had to get the old gunky one off (17 years). It fit okay, just had to be careful sliding the new one on.

If you need a new shell don’t bother buying this one. The key doesn’t even fit in the plastic piece it’s supposed to go in
