I love these little earplugs! I got them at first because I am a light sleeper and I thought that they would help quiet the night noises and morning traffic when traveling and staying at a hotel (they do so perfectly). I find that they fit perfectly in my ears and the various sizes of the earpieces work well. I really like the loops, they make it so much easier to insert and remove from my ears. Another unexpected use for me has been while riding my motorcycle. I have used a variety of earplugs over the years and these are my new favorites. They fit and don't hurt my ears while wearing a snug motorcycle helmet; they do a great job of reducing traffic noise and managing volume while still allowing me to hear what's happening around me. The truth of the matter is that these are amazing little earplugs! They do exactly what they are supposed to do - lessen volume, they're very well made; they're soft and comfortable and while still being durable. I don't know why you wouldn't buy these! Get a set, keep them in your travel kit or keep them around the house, either way, you'll be impressed with them; I know I am.

I think I'm the kind of person that's just more sensitive to sound than most people and these earbuds are a godsend towards helping me get through life with a stable mood. Whether it's screaming kids, partying frat people, overly loud music at the bar/concerts, jets flying overhead, or the plane engine during flights, these earplugs have me covered. I'm a medical student that has to take high-stakes exams in a big room full of people sneezing, coughing, and clicking, and these earbuds really allow me to focus so much better. The noise dampening is excellent and at home I'm able to concentrate very well on my studying with all sorts of background noise going on outside the window. (It's not be enough to keep me asleep if there are loud noises going on inside the house, however). Key features that allow these earbuds to work especially well for me in place of others: (1) They give you various sizes of earpieces so you can dial your own fit; (2) You can twist the circular part that sticks out to really get the earplug deep into your ear and create a nice seal; and (3) The material is really comfortable and I could easily go the whole day with it in.

I hate ear plugs. I've tried all kinds from the cheap foam earplugs to expensive custom molded earplugs. I use earplugs to block out noise while I'm sleeping. I'm a side and stomach sleeper and I toss and turn all night long.The problem with every ear plug I've tried is I hate the pressure build up in my ears. When I turn on my side the pressure from my pillow against the ear plug is painful too. I've tried to cut the cheap expandable foam ear plugs in half to relieve pressure from inside my ear but nothing works. For me, wearing ear plugs are too painful, both inside of my ear and when laying on my side on my pillow.I have never been able to get through the night wearing ear plugs... until now. I was shocked. Though I am 6' tall, I have small ear canals. Every ear plug I've tried is way too big. On my first night of sleep, I tried the Loop Quiet 2 Ear Plugs with the size small tips. Though there is always a bit of pressure when things are stuffed in your ears, for the first time in my life, I was able to sleep comfortably wearing these ear plugs on the first night. Then I tried the extra small and medium size ear plugs to test whether or not the small size was the perfect fit for me. The extra small did not create a good enough seal and the pressure from the medium size tips was unbearable, as has been my experience with other ear plugs.Switching tips was easy and the ergonomics are excellent, very well designed and easy to insert and remove from my ears. I'm now getting used to wearing the Loop Quiet 2s every night. There's a bit pressure inside of my ears caused by these plugs and, when I lay on my side, my pillow pushes against these plugs too but it's bearable. I'm amazed.So why do I give the Loop Quiet 2 Ear Plugs four out of five stars? The "Quiet" part in the name isn't very "quiet." These ear plugs make ambient noise "quieter" but not quiet. I get a good seal with these ear plugs but I still hear everything, from the compressor of my air conditioner, to a car passing by on the road with closed windows, to my breathing. I highly doubt the 24db noise reduction claim. My guess is that there's more likely a 10 - 15db noise reduction. Still, the performance of these ear plugs are impressive enough to hush out enough noise to make them worth wearing.If there is a way for Loop to come out with Version 3.0 that's even quieter without causing any discomfort whatsoever, they'll have a home run. As of now, the Loop Quiet 2 Ear Plugs are highly recommended.

as a light sleeper and someone with anxiety, these are perfect for sleeping and when i need a quiet moment. they fit perfect in my ears and are comfortable to sleep on. they cancel the noises i don’t want to hear, like dog barking, snoring, and traffic sounds, while i can still hear my alarm, white noise, music, and anything else important. genuinely amazing! i’m so happy :)

I was skeptical about reusable earplugs, but these are a total dream—literally. I've never slept so well in my life!I've used those classic squishy orange plugs for years to drown out my partner’s nightly bear-growl symphony (CPAP? Still a mythical beast). Even then, I’d wake up to his nasal thunder. But with these little buddies, I snooze right through the storm.For clarity: when you’re awake, you’ll still hear faint sounds, like under water, but once you’re out, it’s like someone hit mute on the world.I love that they come with several size options; the smallest fits me best. They’re low-profile, comfy, and the color is exactly as shown. I can’t recommend these enough. Just praying they don’t vanish into the laundry abyss like all good things.
