A Quiet Place: Day One

Very well acted, good script and plot. A prequel to the other two Quiet Place movies. Very action packed and enjoyable. (I spent the entire film hoping the cat would make it to the end!) I've seen the whole series, but believe that this stand alone film could be watched first.

What a joy to find a cinema film that proves you can bring it in at a comfortable 95 mins instead of a bum numbing 144 (the latest Planet of the Apes film). Starting as it means to go on this is an energetic roller coaster of a ride through alien invasion territory (You know - the ones who listen for sound and then kill you). Well acted by the 2 principals and the cat, the CGI effects are spot on (the sound is good too)and i really could get both characters (and the cat who survives the most incredible mishaps). I suppose I should just mention a remark my wife made half way through - "are we going to get the Walking Dead next" - We don't! No swearing, definitley no sex but still a 15 cert. Perhaps not for the very young, but what do I know? Good subtitles.

interesting watch. different to original 2 but still an enjoyable watch. Missed Emily Blunt lol

We have all seen the first two movies, this one starts with the initial alien invasion.Good film.

like the fact when read the product description, mentions PAL check my region Thailand is PAL.I dislike the fact when inserted this DVD into machine, machine displays message regional error.

I watched this film with my two teenagers tonight, we all enjoyed. Really good acting. We enjoyed the first two quiet place movies, this one was a bit slower but that almost adds to the suspense. You feel a connection with the characters in this film. Different to the first two films but definitely worth a watch.
