Saved me from having to buy the whole attachment tube
Was so happy this worked and didn’t have to buy the whole attachment as it was $79 I have a Kirby Sentria and this worked for my vacuum. It was hard to get off the old broken piece I watched several videos tied warning it up with blow dryer and everything it just took time to get it out but it saved me a lot of money so I was willing to struggle with it. Was easy to install in new piece and works great

Worked on my Kirby
This part broke on my Kirby. I started looking for it with the hose attached. This was much cheaper by itself. We broke this broken piece of the hose and my husband was able to put this new piece on the hose. Much cheaper than buying it with the hose connected.

good alternative to purchasing an entirely new hose
Had the old adapter break, this was a great choice rather than purchasing the entire hose. One note is that the old adapter was difficult to remove, i had to use 3 screwdrivers to get the "flexible" ring to allow me to pull the old one off. The new one went on very easily.

Built heavy like the factory part
It fit like the factory piece. I’m pretty sure this is an OEM unit. Definitely looks exactly the same as the original except different colors but the new one was still a Kirby color. Just a different generation. Worked well. You don’t just slap them together but that was never the intent. The Kirby stuff is made for longevity and is built for it. Replacing this end gives you a sense of how the whole vacuum is built.

Pleasantly Impressed!
I was a bit skeptical to order this part based on the majority of the reviews, but gave it a try based on some recent positive reviews. While it does not come with instructions on how to install, I looked up a YouTube video and was able to remove the broken one from my hose and install this part in about 10 minutes! I wasn't expecting it to be so quick and easy! It is a great value and beats having to by the whole hose for more than double the cost.

Exactly like old.
The only drawback to this product is the installation. I didn’t have a problem but I could see someone with arthritis or limited use of hands could have difficulty. You have to bend or fold the hard plastic coulimg on the hose to remove the old piece and then put on the new. I watched a YouTube video ad didn’t have any issues. It’s exactly like the old one and therefore works well.
