Case is incredibly solid-feeling, the color is great, the locks on the front to open/close are tight, there are two metal loops on the r/l sides of the front to put padlocks i assume. There is some kind of "name plate" piece behind the handle on the front that can slide out when the case is open (not sure what it's for or what you would wanna put in there instead?). The foam was fairly easy to separate with a sharp knife, but i highly recommend taking it out to make sure you're cutting VERTICAL, STRAIGHT lines and don't dig into the outer wall piece or into the separating walls inside. Padding feels great, fits plenty of gear (2 Aston Spirits, 1 Rode NT1A, 1 Zoom H5 (with lav mic atop), 2 Rode NT5's inside a padded bag (for glass pipes, great for pencil mics though!), and four 6ft XLR cables with my ground mic tripods (teensy tiny ones that literally just sit the aston spirits straight up on the ground). 10/10! Way more affordable than big brand names like Pelican, does the same job!

Got this for glass pieces. I watched a lot of videos and this has great storage space and is perfect size for my stuff. Super sturdy and easy to use. Only bummer of the square precut is you don't get that perfect fit of round pieces but honestly it's easy af and works. I dropped it once already and no issues. Totally worth the price and is amazing quality. Love affordable goods in this horrible economy.

This is a really nice case well built seals beautifully and it’s perfect for remote control transmitters.Plenty of room for accessories as well.

Foam inside has multiple layers. Can custom fit things stored inside. Cuts can be made to foam to further custom fit. Shell is dense, hard. A very good product. Lid locks are a little hard to get used to , but a learned experience.

Perfect for my portable monitor. I use this at work as a case to secure my camera spot monitor. Tough material.

Does what it claims to do. And, being that I have multiple professional uses for it, I love how universal its use is.

Needed a good, solid small case for a Ruger Super Wrangler and other items within same case. Found it with the 14" Jack Boss. All others were about 2" too small to be able to hold a western style revolver that is 12" long from muzzle to tail back-edge, without going diagonal, which would of taken up more of the case. With the plucking out the perforated foam, I was able to keep 1/2" on each side for weapon protection and that was perfect, to not rub against the interior plastic on each end of pistol. My gun is snuggled in nice and protected on all sides. One thing I didn't realize with this type of foam, is it will mostly go too deep when you pull what you need to form the outline of whatever item going into the case. So, get yourself an exacto knife or single edge razor blade and cut how deep you want to go. Just be careful, as this being a 6" deep piece of foam, you might want to also cutout for other items on the bottom side, so's to keep foam protection between the items.This is a great, small case. I weigh about 220#s and I stood on it to test the strength. No problem. For the price, this is a bargain. Yeah, it's made in China, but at least it's well made. It might even work if one transports pistols by ground in/within certain States that require your weapons locked up a certain way to be legal -- by their anti 2nd Amentment laws.Does this Jack Boss case compare to much higher priced, well known brand cases? Unknown, but by its features, it certainly has compatability to them, if you don't mind black, as a color.
