Zotos Design Freedom Regular Perm

I ordered this product with the intention to relax my frizzy, some what curly hair to beat the humidity. Worked perfectly for me. My hair still has body and thickness. Make sure you use the plastic cover. It seems to make it work more effectively. Also I comb hair with solution on it straight in the style I wear it.

My hair has always been very hard to curl. This is the first perm that I have used, that has lasted more than a week. I put the perm in my hair in August, it is now January and I still have the same amout of curls now as I did when it was first applied. The curls have lengthened, but are still there. It was as easy as any other home perm, I just followed the directions. It has a very strong odor though, so I recommend applying it in a very ventilated area. I am extremely satisfied with the results and longevity of this perm. I will absolutely buy this perm again.UPDATE: It is now November 2023, over a year since I put the perm in my hair and I still have curl. So happy with this product. As my hair grows, the curls are turning into more of a ringlet, Love how it looks.

We've used several products for our son's fine hair. This one was easy to use, the directions were clear, and the product worked well. I appreciated the concise packaging with the directions printed on the inside of the box. However, this product does not include endpapers/wrappers nor cotton to wrap the hairline which I didn't realized when I purchased it. Thankfully the previous product we used included an abundance so we could use this kit. This product was $2 cheaper than the other product which included the papers and hair line wrap. Overall, I would use this product again only IF I already had the other items needed to complete the perm process.

I've been perming my hair every 6 weeks for about 4 years so and I have tired many different perm kits.I give this 5 stars because this perm kit is the best at delivering exactly what it designed to do as an Alkaline perm. It’s a bit harsher then because the PH level is higher then acid and most perms. Do not use on thin/medium texture hair, bleached or previously permed hair it will make your hair little fuzzy, dry and spiky requiring lots of conditioner. Also, it will break off so this perm is not for everyone.This perm kit should be used on thicker textured hair and or resistant to processing that's harder to perm.That's why alkaline perm kits are usually on sold to professionals in stores like Sally's etc. because salons will use the correct perm for your hair type.On the plus side results are fantastic - last longer, more defined and tighter curls/waves.

This came today and the box was totally destroyed. It was cut open on the bottom. I usually love this brand but really disappointed when it arrived opened at the bottom.

I've tried several professional and boxed perms over the years and they all fell out within a week- Every Single Time. This is the first one that has ever stayed in, and I'm thrilled. It's been almost a month now, without one bit of trouble. My hair isn't fried or frizzy. It's soft and has loads of volume and curl (I used this perm to put a spiral perm in my hair). Well worth the money. I have paid a ton more money for far less results. I will definitely be repurchasing this product when it's time to refresh my do. Wish I had known about this type of perm Years ago.
