Expensive brunnete
I was tired of my bayalage turning brassy and wanted to go a little darker, so I ordered this shampoo. Although it is not a solid color it gave my hair a beautiful brunette town which is exactly what I was looking for. It’s not about the color it’s more of a hair gloss and treatment and I was surprised with the sample of the leave in conditioner which I loved as well. It has a beautiful expensive scent that I love as well.

Amazing results and the healthiest my hair has ever felt!
I purchased this shampoo and conditioner and it was the best decision I've ever made. If you want to boost/brighten the color of your hair, whether you color it or not, this combination will gives your hair color an amazing boost of shine and color. It left the most beautiful golden honey shine to my hair. The shampoo has no harsh chemicals like Sulfates, Parabens and the colors are made with botanical and mineral pigments so there is no damage to your hair. And the conditioner is the bomb! I left it on for about 10 min and when I rinsed it out my hair had never felt so healthy and soft. And my husband complemented me several times on how great my hair smelled and looked. American Culture Brands will be my go to hair care products from now on. I highly recommend this brand!

Freshens a color job but a bit drying
I have naturally blonde hair dyed red. I've used the Celeb Luxury Gem Lites (Amber) color depositing shampoo on and off, but it leaves my hair SO DRY even after a thick treatment of conditioner :-/ I got tired of fighting the tangles and I wanted a redder refresh tint, so I got this brand in Cherry. What I noticed:1. It smells amazing2. It does dry my hair, but but nearly as much as Celeb Luxury. Conditioner easily detangled.3. You don't need to leave it on 20+ minutesI've found that what you get after 3-5 minutes is what it is, so don't waste your time letting it sit for half an hour4. This product lathers but the color doesn't seem to lather. Meaning if you lather as you apply, the color deposit seems faint. It leaves more color if you apply it like paint. I pulled out a coloring brush and would get in and under the layers of my hair and brush it down the length of my hair. If you slap it on, that's where it will stay and you'll have blotches of tint. I recommend you take a few minutes and actually apply it to sections5. A little goes a long way if you apply with purpose, even if you're applying all over your head.

No color?? Eh....
It is very expensive shampoo that has no color benefits that I can note after repeated use. It's not bad or anything, but just not what they advertise. I have naturally red hair with a blend of shades from blond to dark copper, and these days some white coming in. I thought a color wash shampoo might be a nice pop of brightening without being fake or died. It seems a perfectly nice shampoo, but for the price it does nothing. I mean even for free it would still do nothing. I don't see any effect from using it, color-wise. I use the Aveda Madder Root for red hair and I feel that does a bit of something, maybe?

Great Product!
The Mrs got me the 8oz conditioner from a salon. Noticeable color change after 3 uses. So I bought the large shampoo: you get the volume discount! My auburn hair went prematurely gray/silver. After more years, it got wiry. The pureBLENDS softened it and colors! If you've ever been coerced to try one of those just brush it in, shoe polish looks try this no muss, no fuss, gradual and naturally look instead. Produced locally on Long Island...recommended!

Beware - Does not work on virgin hair!
This does absolutely nothing for virgin (un-treated, undamaged) hair. Zero. I tried everything. I blow dried my hair to try to open up the pores. Used hot water. Tried applying it dry after blow drying. Tried ore-washing it, blow drying, applying dry. I tried not washing with any other shampoo in between. I tried leaving it to set in for 10 min, 30min, an hour.It did absolutely nothing.I have light strawberry blonde hair. I read one other review that said they have the same color hair I do, and this turned their hair pink. I was hoping for the same result, but it did absolutely NOTHING. I went through the whole bottle.Maybe, MAYBE this works somewhat on damaged hair that takes color better. But it does NOT work on virgin hair. And the whole point for me was to NOT have to damage my hair to get some color. So, total fail. Will not be buying this again. Wish I could get my $25 back.

Some mixing of colors may be necessary
I'm a natural redhead, but my hair is fading as I get older. Salon highlights are pricey and don't last long, so I've been looking for something like this to give my hair color a boost but still look natural. I bot the RED color because the description states it is for bright red and red brown tones. I steered clear of the MARIGOLD color as I didn't want to end up with 'I Love Lucy' orange hair and I didn't want burgundy hair so I steered clear of the CHERRY color.I like the product, but the RED left burgundy highlights in my hair....I wasn't expecting that from the RED color and it did NOT look natural. I bot a bottle of the CHESTNUT and mix 2-3 parts CHESTNUT with 1 part RED, and I really like the result. I use it twice a week, and regular shampoo the other times. The shampoo does NOT appear to cover any of my white/gray hairs....just the hair that is still red. I'm not trying to look 20 years younger....I just don't want to look so faded, so I am happy with this result.
