This lightsaber torch lighter is such a fun and awesome purchase! If you’re a fan of Star Wars, you absolutely need this. It works great and lights candles quickly and easily — but the best part? You get to feel like a Jedi or Sith Lord igniting your lightsaber every time you use it. It adds a fun, nerdy touch to something as simple as lighting a candle. It’s well-made, easy to use, and makes a fantastic gift for any Star Wars fan.

These are so good they may not look exactly like light saber in colors but the build is close! And the flames change colors the bigger the flame gets! Its a nice size and feels like very good metal quality. And has a lock to ensure safety. Refilling is easy as any lighter.

This thing is awesome. It shoot's out flame so hard and is cool looking. All the guys have been drawn to it, and had me send them the link to buy. Awesome torch.

So, I got this with expectations that it may produce an impressive flame, but there may be usability issues. While it does have some issues, they can all be worked around as long as you understand what's going on. The first thing I noticed after unboxing - a near complete lack of instructions. While usage is pretty intuitive if you've used butane powered devices previously, there's a few things where having some basic instructions would probably go a long way - even if they're just in the product description page. Fundamentally, this is a butane torch. By default, the flame is blue, but if you place something in the path of the flame, an arrestor of sorts, you can change the color to red. By default, there's a metal grill installed at the opening where flame comes out. This is what makes the flame red. If you remove it, the flame will be the "normal" blue. The metal grill is very thin and as a result can bend or break easily so be careful with removing it. You might be able to just shake it out but otherwise, use a toothpick or something small where you can gently pull on the ring to pull it out. Given the reviews that mention not being able to get the flame to change color, that's probably a major gotcha for most. The next is that you can adjust the size of the flame by twisting the dial that's just around the trigger. There's a variety of adjustments but it can be adjusted to the point where almost no gas is released when the trigger is pulled/held. If you have it turned too far down, this would make it seem like your torch is not working! Luckily, out of the box, it was in the middle position and so when I next tried to light the flame after fiddling with that dial and removing the grill, the torch didn't light, it didn't take me too long to realize what may have happened. A related gotcha is that there's no way to see how much butane is loaded into the torch. So for me, my first thought when I failed to get it to light is that I somehow didn't put much butane in it. So I tried to put more, but being near full, I quickly ended up spilling the HIGHLY FLAMMABLE butane around the bottom of the torch. Which of course caught fire when a minute later I realized what was going on and turned the dial that meters the gas output. Luckily, butane evaporates quickly and I happened to be doing this near a sink so when the whole torch went up in flames, I just dropped it then patted the flames out. Word to the wise - don't engage the switch to hold the trigger open until you've finished setting things up and are confident about operating the torch.

Works great for starting the fireplace, dabs, and the grill, goes from a medium size flame to a huge flame, I think it depends on the butane you use, my step dad uses a generic butane from the flea market and gets a smaller flame on his, I’ve been using the neon 5x butane with this and it works wonders, it heats up glass within seconds ready to dab, would highly recommended

The BOMB. Lights right up every time, nice definitive lock-out switch. Adjustable flame length. Lotsa heat if you need it, can turn it down if you don't. Love it. Haven't had or used it enough to guess at long term reliability.

Perfect gift for men, great value. The guys kept talking about how cool their light sabers were.

Kind of disappointing it's strangley difficult to find fuel for the lighter. Other than that, a pretty solid little novelty. There is probably better lighters out there, but hey this one looks lights a lightsaber. On that note, it functions quite well as novelty lighter.
