Took some adjustments and some breaking in - but once it got some use it almost felt natural to wearI have thumb arthritis and have had carpal tunnel surgery as well in the same handPros:*I truly enjoy the more open hand and use of fingers without causing pain to the thumb*Great thing is that once fitted properly, I've been able to sleep in these!!*Other braces cause fingertip numbness or my whole hand to go numb and cause me to pull it off... Whereas I have not had that issue with these as of yet*One strap instead of two or three straps makes it really easy to take on and off when you need too quickly use your thumbNote: (there is a second strap for the thumb but once you have it fitted properly you can slide it on and off without ever using that strap again)

It works as described. I cut my thumb just below the top knuckle and it won't heal because I keep opening it up bending the thumb. This holds the thumb and keeps it from bending. I bought a small and it fits well. I normally wear a large ladies glove. My only wish is that I could buy a left or right, not both.

I purchased this to help eliminate movement from thumb to my wrist where I'm experiencing some bone on bone movement. The wrist section tightens pretty well and feels secure. The thumb strap does not secure the thumb very well and therefore bends more than it should. The thumb attachment strap should either be longer or have various velcro tabs up and down the thumb to be able to secure it tightly. I also thought I was getting a two pack of just left thumb restraints. Labeling should either be better or I missed it completely.

I sleep with them on. It makes a huge difference in my thumb pain the next day.

I purchased this to help with a bad flare up of de quervains tenosynovitis and I did not feel like it provided the support for this. It held my thumb steady but did not prevent movement in the thumb.I can imagine this would be better used for something where you want your thumb held straight.

Product does what it says. Good stability

This items really work, I'm recommend to anyone.

As a woman with smaller hands I didn’t not fit in the size my wrist “measured “ to. I then sent it back and ordered the next size down and it was still too big and bulky. I had both the OT that I worked with do the measurement for me too. I ended up ordering the small from velpeau and find it much more comfortable and supportive. I would definitely recommend velpeau over this one for people who are neurodivergent and struggle with the itchy straps
