I've had the original model and found it lasted a good year before the sun finally melted the suction cup. It was really durable and reliable. The new model is similar, but has the release button on the opposite side and it makes it more awkward to release my phone when I'm done. It irks me enough that I plan on looking for a different phone mount. I'm strongly considering ordering another of the original model. That being said, it's easy to set up and holds my large-ish phone very well.

Had bought two other similar holders before. The suction would not hold onto the dash. This one has been holding strong so I'm happy about that. The rest of it feels sturdy. The universal fit is great (iphone and galaxy). The one negative is with the rubber things on the side holder. As it squeezes onto to the phone it folds onto itself and prevents a tight grip. Really doesn't make sense why those are on there. A flat rubber piece would've worked just fine.

installation is super easy!

i was skeptical since i have yet to find one that actually will stay in place , has a many options and a nice suction grip once in place it stays in place and can move in different directions to suit different angels with a easy phone release, holds the phone with no problems and the options in placement for your needs are many, love this and i highly recommend this
