Bosch C7 Battery Charger

Plz. note that the description shown over anazone website is totally wrong. C70-B is a 12V/7A or 24V/3.5A Car battery charger. This is not 12V/10A or 24V/5A charger, C70 model has this rating but C70-B is not. So plz. be sure before placing order. Over anazone website it has beer described as that it can charge up to12V/24 V, 230 AH battery, which is totally wrong. As far as performance is concerned Bosch's name is sufficient to describe that. it is Excellent one. Although cost is little bit high but design is well engineered. Ek baar purchase kar hamesha ke liye battery discharge problem bhool jaiye. Otherwise bar bar chinees model purchase karte rahe.

Absolutely sturdy as well as Idiot proof autonomous charger. I have purchased this for my Tata Hexa. My driving is limited and car sits idle for several days. The first charger that was sent had a missing screw and upon complaint was immediately replaced with another. I am sure this charger will last for several years.

Value for money The device should also include an indication showing the trickle charging mode, inorder to know that the charger has stopped charging and started to maintain the battery.

Not helpful to me because it is one time charging even though battery is showing full charge but after 10 minutes the charging is going down immediately. If it is battery problem it should show battery fault and should not charge.

Robust construction. Removable clamp to hang shows how small small things are thought of, also model seems updated as cable couplers have changed and now single cable can be used in multiple ways to connect to battery. Seller should update the images on product page.

For AGM battery in my Mercedes the charger went to 100% and the indication stayed at 100% full. After some time it switched to maintenance mode but for WET type battery as the AGM LED switched off by itself. Also LED2 came ON.That tells me there's no Maintenance mode option for AGM type battery in the C70-B charger. The listing says Maintenance mode without specifying that it's not available for AGM battery. In my second test I connected the C70 -B charger to my other car which is standard Wet Lead Acid battery. The charge went to 100% and stayed at that. The charger in this case didn't automatically switch to Maintenance mode and kept indicating 100% battery, LED2 remained OFF. The operating manual clearly states Maintenance function is available only for majority of GEL batteries. AGM battery is not stated in Maintenance mode 3. I'm disappointed that the C70-B doesn't work as claimed in listing on Amazon India website. I want to return it get refund of my payment.

Great battery charger with trickle/maintenance function. Very easy to use and reliable. Safety feature of this charger makes sure your battery doesn't overcharge and you can plug it in for days in a row.
