Is the product cruelty free and vegan?

its an old fragrance so the animal test if any should have been done long time ago ....and it is certainly vegan as far as I can imagine ....alcohol & some fragrance ....

Is this perfume heavy? By heavy I mean like Estee Lauder's scent, I believe it could be called Youth Dew. I love Gres, but it's a spring scent.

I get heavy oakmoss, aldehydes and spicy herbs. Green, herby, clean and fresh. The predominant scent is oakmoss but you can sense a number of complex scents coming and going underneath, including something slightly floral. I wasn't surprised to see rose listed as an ingredient. The scent really does develop underneath the constant moss, ebbing and flowing like an undercurrent. Most of our customers use it for Winter. Regards, Amazon Answers

Sorry, I don't know the answer to your question. I only know that my daughter has liked it for a long time so when I needed something I decided it must e good if she likes it so I bought it. And I am very happy with it. There are very few that I like.

So happy to have this again

My favorite perfume since a friend brought me some from France when I was 16 which was decades ago. Very happy to find this. Wonderful scent. Couldn’t use it at work as a nurse but now that I’m retired …. I can use it every day.

Utterly Original and Fabulous

One of my absolute favorites, rediscovered after many years; how could I have gone so long without wearing this? I mean it as the highest compliment when I say it is: Sharp, crisp, aloof, haughty, utterly original, and bone dry as an ice-cold gin martini straight up. A classic chypre with green and soapy notes, so you will smell both aloof and clean. Don't let the low price put you off. It smells expensive. I LOVE LOVE Cabochard.

If you like Aramis, but cannot afford

This review is for the gentlemen out there. If you like Aramis, but cannot afford, or do not want to pay the extra, consider Cabochard. They're remarkably similar; it's essentially Aramis with less clove and a tiny bit of floral. Don't worry about the floral; it's not enough to make it truly feminine. Truly, this is a unisex classic at a fantastic price.Likewise, anyone who dislikes Aramis or Estee Lauder's Azuree should not buy this. All three were created by the same perfumer (Bernard Chant), and all have a similar scent and feel to them.
