This gun performs very well, lays down base well, and clear perfectly. The gun adjustments are right on. Well constructed DIY gun that shoots as good if not better than some 200-300 dollar guns I own. I painted my street rod with a 5 hp 35 gallon compressor I have had for like 8 years. Easy to clean and really liked the disposable inter liner cups! Hard to believe this can produce such quality results at this price point, just remember you still have to know how to paint, and understand technique. Would definitely recommend this unit.

I've seen a lot of spray guns from the very top to introductory models. This kit is done right for an inexpensive kit. They put the money where it should be, into the basics. Many kits give you several needles and nozzles that are machined poorly. This kit gives you one set that is done right.The body is a simple piece finished in black. The red knobs work as intended, with decent threading and smooth action. The trigger is fine for this price range, showing no signs of sticking or clicking. You can get reasonable control.The nozzle and nozzle/fan cap are actually machined properly. No flash in the air holes. The needle is centered properly in the output hole. There is a bit of play if you take it apart and put it back on, but you can get it centered easily.Accessories are fine. Standard disposable cups that work well. Plastic cup with threaded insert in case you want to use a non disposable style.Have to run this to see how it sprays but so far I am enthused by the lack of machining errors in the nozzle and air cap.

Mine came with oil inside the guns plant reservoir. Why? None of my other guns have this issue and it’s going to get in the paint. The gun is fairly well made but not the nicest by far. Comes with a bunch of goodies but the main product is not perfect so I would not get this again.
