I tested it with my multimeter and it met the specifications. I installed it and now my heat pump is working again.

Works as expected
Works well. Install is easy -- just to make sure you take a picture of the old installation so you'll know which color of wires go to which leads. For my GSC13 AC, the Orange wire/lead goes to fan; Red/Purple wires/leads go to C (Common), and the Yellow wire/lead goes to HERM (the hermetically sealed for the compressor).

This works great for the price
I always keep one or two of these around. I am not sure just how long they will last because I change mine out every two years. Never had an issue with it failing. I just consider it part of my normal maintenance. They are not expensive and better for your system to not let one go bad.Also since I live in a subdivision, where most of us have the same AC systems, I keep one or two on hand to help the neighbors out. Creates a lot of good will when you can go fix your neighbors AC system on a hot day. Most of the AC companies around here want $2-300 just to replace one. That is if they don't find " something else" that needs fixing.

The last one I bought was June 21, 2019, so it lasted 4 years. For $14 instead of a $300 service call, still worth every penny. Bought another one. Keep a spare!!

Does the Job
A start capacitor like this one is an easy fix for an Air Conditioner when fan doesn't run.Check Micro Farad and Voltage ratings and measure size (especially circumference for bracket)of your old capacitor and purchase PowerWell capacitor you need. They work.Save yourself a $100 air conditioning service call.

Fixed our AC
Works as it should. I always (okay, usually) take a pic of the old one so I’m not guessing on wiring up the new one. Just be safe & make sure you discharge any residual juice from the old one before taking it out!
