Prestige PPBR 03 Barbeque

Perfect for starters. It is a very basic BBQ, suitable for 2-3 people. I have used it about 15-20 times since I bought it. The only problem I see is that the gap between the mesh and the tray is small and its not easy to refill or move the coal inside. Also to start you have to remove the mesh, put charcoal and wait for it to get ready and then put the mesh back on which is a little difficult when the pan is hot.I drilled some holes in the tray to allow air to circulate. The skewers are good quality and length. I would recommend this one for starters to get some hands on personal experience before going on to buy an expensive one.

This grill is great for a small party.Pro's1) Portable2) Easy to clean3) A lot of room to cook4) The skewers which you get are stronger than expectedCons (gonna be detailed with this)1) The major draw back with this kit is that the tray slides on to the grill (doesn't just fit like a glove and you would have to put some effort), hence you would be unable to use pre burnt charcoal (the charcoal I'm referring to/used is the one used by restaurants for tandoor ovens, but in smaller chunks). Hence I would recommend to directly burn the charcoal on the griller using starters or coconut shells.2) If you are able to use pre burnt charcoal, the gap b/w the tray and grill is small on the outer side, so you can't slide in large chunks of pre burnt charcoal. Because of which, the charcoal tends to burnt out fast and you would have to replace it frequently (would recommend about 3.5 to 4 kg of charcoal - small chunks - for 4 people - for a party which lasts about 5 to 6 hours - including grill prep time). Because of this frequent replacement, you won't get the necessary heat to cook the food faster.VerdictWould recommend if you are going to have small BBQ party for 2-4 and if you regularly camp/go for trips with your friends since this kit is really light and extremely portable.

* serves the purpose at the price* very inconvenient to put the grill to the lower bucket after lighting the charcoal* the stand you can see is fixed to the upper grill not the part of lower bucket so imagine how you are going to fit the upper grill with hot charcoal in the lower bucket !* skewers are of good quality* bucket depth is shallow. so can accommodate one layer of coal of small size with out touching the upper grill.* once everything is fixed you are ready to go !* mind you locally available charcoal produce fumes and sparks randomly. consider a barbeque with cover if you can .

I revived it on 9th of July......n I am very happy with the product ...Pros...Its best at its price ....not very small...not too large....its just perfect for a party time ...great for indoor party...but keep in mind the mess ...it will all black everywhere.... The space between the coal n d grill is perfect..its cooks very nicely....You also get a recipe book and a 2yrs warrenty card inside ...as well as 3 sticks free...so no need to buy extra sticks ...Cons....Its messi when it comes to party indoor.....u have to burn the coal n dn u have to transfer it in d grill...Dr is no drain for the ash that burns......the stand is a little shaky...... The bottom gets very hot ...bottom I mean the floor...so if u r making it indoor...pour some sand or keep sumthing ...to prevent it.....All together its a fabulous product ....small n nice ....n I just loved it ...can't wait to party again

Product is good.# If you are well aware how to light the fire in a proper manner, else it will take 2 to 6 attempts to get that right.# what I did, used cotton cloth, dipped in diesel, made a pyramid with available charcoal. Still it will take around 20mins, rest depends on the quality of charcoal. Better to get charcoal dry in a hot shiny day.# read manual.untill you see dark red charcoal burning, wait and then keep your stuff.# being a vegetarian used it for veg stuff. It's good. Panned tikka tasted yum.# first lite the charcoal, then keep/fit the grill above.# try outside home or with proper space to let the smoke out.# product will act as good barbeque + good angeethi/winter heat fire.# good for winters, as produces a lot of heat when ready to cook.

Dent of the plate underneath will be a spoiler as it contributes to the height difference between plate and the grill esp when tried with small charcoal cubes . It will take a lot of time and energy to cook food, unless you find a solution to fix it.Pro: Sufficient grill for two people. Built quality is nice ,its a prestige !

Pretty good product from prestige .Pros -Good quality and buildCheap , worth the moneyEasy to assembleVery light so handling becomes easyCons -Stand could have been higher , but for the price cons can be ignored .Overall -Good product to go for , serves well for party's especially small indoor party's , easy to assemble and clean and comes with 3 skewers . For the price this is a good buy . I would say go for it straight away .

Its much better than the other grills in this price range. Better go with good brands only.. Before this i bought a grill from Fabrilla, and it has the worst build quality and already rusted product.This one from prestige has really some good built quality.
