Sparkling Clean Pool & Stellar Support โ Grandpa Approved!
Iโm a grandfather who has owned pools for decades, and the Beatbot AquaSense Cordless Robotic Pool Vacuum has genuinely impressed me like no other cleaner. I have a 12,000-gallon inground fiberglass pool, and this little robot has become my poolโs new best friend. From the moment I unpacked it, I could tell it was a quality piece of equipment โ solid build, thoughtful design, and no flimsy parts. After using it for a few months this summer, Iโm extremely satisfied and want to share my experience. Effortless Setup & Use: Setting up the AquaSense was a breeze, even for a tech-challenged grandpa like me. I just charge it up, drop it in the pool, and press a button. No tangled cords, no external pumps โ truly plug-and-play. Itโs surprisingly easy to lift out of the water too. When the cleaning cycle is done (it runs for a good 3 hours on a charge, plenty for my pool), the robot intelligently parks near the waterline. This means I donโt have to chase it around or tug on cables โ itโs right there waiting to be scooped up with the included hook. And as I lift it out, it automatically purges water, so Iโm not hauling a heavy waterlogged unit. My knees and back silently thanked Beatbot from day one! Outstanding Cleaning Performance: In terms of cleaning, this robot delivers beyond expectations. Iโve watched in awe as it cruises along the pool floor in neat patterns, gobbling up leaves, sand, and bugs that used to be a pain to vacuum manually. It climbs my fiberglass walls with ease โ I was grinning the first time I saw it scale the walls all the way up to the waterline. It even scrubbed away the faint dirt film on the waterline tiles that I used to scrub by hand. After each session, the pool floor is spotless, the walls are clean, and the waterline is gleaming. My water has never been this crystal-clear consistently, and my grandkids noticed right away. Theyโve nicknamed the robot โWall-Eโ because it roams and climbs the walls โ itโs become a fun attraction when they come for a swim. ๐ In short, my pool has stayed sparkling clean since AquaSense came along. Real-Life Results & Quality: To give some context โ my pool is roughly 15x30 feet with varying depth, and the AquaSense covers every inch. It doesnโt get stuck on the drain or the curved corners; it smartly navigates around steps and ladders. I love that it has powerful suction and dual brushes that scrub in both directions โ you can actually see it dislodging algae and fine sediment as it goes. The filter basket is a generous size (easily holds all the debris from my pool in one go) and itโs easy to access from the top. Cleaning out the basket is simple: I just pop it open and hose it off. Even the finest particles get trapped now (more on that below). The overall build quality is fantastic โ the wheels, brushes, and casing all feel durable. After dozens of cleaning cycles, I see no wear or reduction in performance. Itโs clear this robot is built to last, and itโs saving me hours of manual labor each week. As a grandfather who values his relaxing time, thatโs priceless! Customer Service โ Above and Beyond: I have to highlight Beatbotโs outstanding customer service, because it truly sets this purchase apart. Initially, I noticed that while the AquaSense was picking up the big stuff effortlessly, some very fine dirt (like super tiny dust or pollen sediment) was slipping through the default filter and settling back onto the pool floor. It wasnโt a huge issue โ the water was much cleaner than before โ but as a bit of a perfectionist, I reached out to Beatbotโs customer support to ask if they had a finer filter option. To my surprise, they responded the same day with genuine concern and knowledge. The rep (shout-out to Winnifer at Beatbot!) was incredibly helpful and friendly. She explained that there is a finer filter available and immediately offered to send one out to me at no charge. I was blown away โ I half expected to be told to buy an upgrade, but they proactively shipped me a finer filter basket within a few days. Once I installed the finer filter (which literally took seconds to swap in), it completely solved the issue. Now not a speck of dust escapes โ even the super fine silt gets captured. I can actually see the difference: before, Iโd occasionally spot a tiny dusting at the bottom if I looked really closely, but now the pool floor stays impeccably clean after each run. The water looks like it belongs in a resort. Beatbot turning a small negative into such a positive experience made me a raving fan. Their quick, generous response showed me that they truly stand behind their product and care about their customers. Itโs been a long time since Iโve encountered customer service this excellent for any product. This level of support gives me great confidence in my purchase โ I know if I ever have any other questions or issues, theyโll be there to help. Final Thoughts โ 5 Stars (Would Give 6 if I Could!): As an actual owner whoโs been using the Beatbot AquaSense regularly, I can honestly say itโs one of the best investments Iโve made for my pool. It keeps my pool floor, walls, and waterline impeccably clean, itโs easy to use and maintain, and the companyโs customer service is top-notch. The convenience of a cordless, intelligent pool vacuum means I spend more time swimming and relaxing with my family and less time fiddling with manual vacuums or brushes. My grandkids and I are thoroughly enjoying a clean pool without the usual hassle โ Grandpa gets to be the pool hero without breaking a sweat! If youโre on the fence about this pool cleaner, I wholeheartedly recommend it. Itโs real, it works, and itโs backed by a company that cares. The AquaSense has turned my once labor-intensive pool maintenance into a hands-free, worry-free routine. My only regret is that I didnโt discover it sooner. Five glowing stars from this happy grandfather! ๐๐๐๐๐

Must Buy!!
One of the best Poor Vacuum Robot ive purchased, ive had around 8 types of pool vacuums, and none cant compare to the Beatbot, love how it climbs the pool walls and picks up all the sand in the pool. Leaves it clean and ready to get in. Only downside is that is pricey, but its worth it. You wont be disappointed.

A solid unit with some quirks
I got this to replace an Aiper that had died two months after its warranty expired. This time, I used a credit card that doubles the manufacturer's warranty. So - 4 years of warranty. The unit is physically larger and heavier than the Aiper. I'm glad I didn't go for the "Pro" version which is clearly even larger and heavier. It seems to be well made, and although it's heavier, it's just as easy to carry as the Aiper, because the ergonomics are better. Nice big grab handle. It has Wifi connectivity when it's out of the pool. But it does not accept Wifi passphrases with embedded spaces. I asked Beatbot's tech support about it, and their suggestion was to change my wifi passphrase. Umm, not happening. I have WAY too many gadgets with that passphrase. Note that I say "passphrase" and not "password". Wifi has supported passphrases since its very inception. Luckily, the cleaner works without wifi. Another issue - that I didn't know before receiving it; The manual says to turn off your pool filters while the cleaner is cleaning. I'm betting that's because the noise in the water confuses their ultrasonic sensor. I don't think that was mentioned in the Quick Start pamphlet. Anyway, the cleaner does work with the pumps running, but I think it's a little confused. My pool is a simple rectangular shape, and for some reason instead of going back & forth with the shape, the cleaner cuts steep diagonals across it, climbing the walls a bit at a severe tilt. The pool hadn't been properly cleaned since the old cleaner gave up, and although we have a power cover on it, a quantity of leaves had wound up on the bottom. The instructions say to clean the pool by hand before using the cleaner for the first clean of the season. Heck with that! I bought this $1K cleaner to *clean*, not to watch me clean :). So I plopped the cleaner in. It did it's thing and then parked at the edge of the pool. I fished it out, and the hopper was completely full. Recharged it and did it again the next day. It's been 3 days of once-a-day cleaning, and now the pool is almost pristine. WRT charging: The unit comes with a charging dock with two big spring loaded terminals that contact connection spots on the side of the cleaner. This seems like a very effective system, and superior to the little rubber-tipped plug that the Aiper had. Much easier to keep clean. The cleaner started parking itself at the far side of the pool, that has a retaining wall. Sure would be nice if I could tell it to park over HERE instead. But not deadly - my pool pole reaches the other side, and the supplied hook is very good - very substantial. The last few cleans, the unit stopped parking itself on the wall. Rather, it just stops somewhere in the middle of the pool. Not deadly - it's easy to fish it out with the pole. In conclusion, this seems to be a good cleaning machine, with some high-tech warts. But no deal killers.

Works Just Like They Say
Love this robot โ total game changer! Iโve been using the Beatbot cordless pool robot for a little while now, and I absolutely love it. The fact that itโs cordless is a huge plusโno more dealing with tangled cables or figuring out how far it can reach. It just goes to work and covers the entire pool really well, including the floor and walls. Itโs impressive how thorough it is. I can just drop it in, let it do its thing, and come back to a spotless pool. Super convenient, and it saves me so much time compared to manual cleaning. If you're on the fence about getting a pool robot, I highly recommend this one. Itโs been reliable, easy to use, and makes pool maintenance a whole lot easier.

Not great at picking up fine particles
I had the Nautilus Dolphin previously. It worked great, but the cord was a constant issue. I switched to the BeatBot for the convenience of not having to mess with a cord, but it doesnโt pick up fine particles as well as out old Dolphin. I run it for as long as possible and it oicks up bigger debris, but there is always fine dirt or sand left around the bottom of the pool.

It works.
I don't have any other cordless robot to compare but it last about 1.75h each charge. I have 2 corded robots. And this work just as good as the dolphin m600 without the cord. The m600 lasted 1 year. The other one is the Wybot which is a piece of junk and terrible post sale customer service. Initially, this robot seems to be very confuse when you put in the water. However, it seems to be learning your typography. As times goes on, it get better and better and seems to know some of the peculiarities of your pool. It does attempt to clean your steps but not really good at it. Hopefully the manufacturer improve the algorithm in the future. Over all a good price for a decent robot. Will see how long will it last.

Awful Experience
Bought this back in August of 2025. Its already malfunctioning. I have called customer suppoet multiple times to have a new one shipped to me and it has been the worst customer service ever. Do not buy any pool vacuums from them. They are not an american company so they take forever to email back. They keep saying they will email me a shipping label to have my product replaced but then never email me. Go with a different company DO NOT buy this.

does not pick up algae or d.e but dispersed it back into the pool and makes the pool water not clear
I had got this robot during the fall when it was getting close to closing the pool or does a really great job of you have medium to large debris however I have a d.e. filter and have noticed what to me looked like algae at the bottom of the pool that needed to be vacuumed up so I got this and all it did was spread it around the pool... so bad the water went green and I could no longer even see the robot the only way I knew where it was at was by the jets it left behind in the water.... we have opend up the pool and started running the pump again adhd found the algae at the bottom is back only to find it's not algae it's d.e. from the filter..... so moral of the story is it does not pick up fine particles like algae or d.e. it just comes out of its jet and pumps it back into the pool I eventually gave up waited for everything to settle again and got into the pool and vacuumed by hand..... so if you have a d.e. filter or an algae problem get one with a hose.... I wish I did, but if you just have leaves and such then it's a great robot for that!

App will not work on 5G networks
NOTE: this item and its app run only on 2.4 ghz networks. I have 5G, so I returned this model and am getting the Beatbot Aquasense 2. I canโt rate the item as I never used it.

App install is a nightmare
Got this in, love the physical unit. It seems to be built out of high quality material. The rubber cleaning paddles are strong, they're not breaking off any time soon. Beyond that, I dunno. I've been at trying to get the app installed so I could review it for 20 minutes and as if right now I've been unsuccessful. The qr code didn't work. It took tme to a page that had a download button that didn't download. Ok, I went to Google play and got it there. It asked me for country and I had to register. For a pool cleaner? No. I shouldn't have to provide this info to get the pool cleaned. Tried to connect the app and the unit. Tondo that, you have to disengage from your wifi/internet and connect to the unit. This is bizarre, my phone doesn't get Internet when it's connected. The unit didn't go into wifi discovery mode. Ok, there's a manual override that does that. Then it tried to connect and goes into a three minute countdown....and didn't connect. Ok, turns out I had an error in my Wi-Fi password. But it doesn't tell you that it can't connect, it just goes into that three minute countdown while I sit there not realizing there's an error. It should just tell.me the password is wrong. After a few times of that, I got my password correct. Tried again....and I'm back to the three minute countdown with no connection. I'm sure it's a great machine if I can actually get the app connected. Given the price point I'll be spending more time on it but I shouldn't be 20 minutes in, frustrated, and an app that's not connected.

Excellent Robotic Pool Vacuum. Very Easy to Use
This Beatbot AquaSense cordless robotic pool vacuum cleaner is very easy to set up and use. The provided instructions do an excellent job of describing the features, how to connect to the app, and how to operate the vacuum. There is a very minimal amount of assembly required to set up the charging base, then you just charge the unit, install the app (although not required to use), connect the app to the vacuum and you are ready to go. The vacuum is extremely easy to operate. You simply turn it on by pressing the power button, then press a button for the desired cleaning mode. There is a button for "quick" mode which cleans just the floor. There is a button for "standard" mode which cleans the floor and walls and waterline. After powering on and selecting the mode, place the vacuum on level ground, wait 5 seconds for the unit to calibrate, then place the vacuum in the pool and it starts cleaning. When the cleaning is done, the vacuum positions itself at the top of a wall for easy removal. If you are not there to retrieve it, after some time, the vacuum will descend to the floor to conserve power and you can use the provided hook on a pole to remove the vacuum. I have found that this robotic vacuum does a much better job of cleaning my pool than others I have tried. My pool has a sloped floor from the shallow end to the deep end, but it also has sloped sections that transition from the walls to the floor. Other robotic cleaners get thrown off by these angled sections and it takes them a long time and multiple passes to cover the entire floor. This robotic pool vacuum doesn't get thrown off by these sections. After testing for about 2 weeks, I have also found that it seems to learn the layout of my pool the more it is used so it gets better over time. Besides the ease of operation, optimal cleaning path learning, and positioning at the top of a wall when done cleaning for easy removal, there are other features that make this an excellent choice for your pool. First, this pool vacuum seems to have a much more suction power than other robotic vacuums I have tried. It easily picks up some debris and waterlogged leaves that others can't. Second, this pool vacuum also has large roller brushes at the front and back of the vacuum. These brushes help to agitate and pick up smaller dirt particles as well as clean up any smaller algae spots that it encounters. I have found with manually vacuuming or using other robot cleaners, I would have to brush over some algae spots in order to remove them as the vacuum alone did not. But this vacuum uses it's own brushes to perform that task automatically. Note that I am not saying this pool vacuum will brush a pool with heavy algae, but it will make it easier to get rid of some smaller algae spots. Third, this robotic pool vacuum comes with a cordless charging dock. This makes it so easy to charge. No more fumbling with plugging a cord into an outlet on the vacuum and then into an outlet. With this system, just leave the charger plugged in and set the vacuum onto the charger. It's so easy. Fourth, the filter basket on this pool vacuum is larger than others I have tested so it can hold more debris in one cleaning session without having to be pulled out to empty it. The basket is very easy to remove to empty and hose out for cleaning. Finally, this robotic pool vacuum is one of the lightest I have tested. It is very easy to lift in and out of the pool (especially with the wall positioning when it's done) and place onto the charging base. The app is easy to use, but is pretty basic. The app allows you to set to one of the two cleaning modes that you can access via the buttons on the vacuum and then start vacuuming. The app also gives you a log of the cleaning sessions so you can see the map of the cleaning pattern as well as how long it was operating. The app does not let you control the vacuum in the pool and you can't schedule pool cleanings (more on that below). I found the app easy to install by using the QR code in the instruction manual and easy to connect to the vacuum by scanning the QR on the vacuum. Note that you will have to register using your email address in order to use the app. If you really don't want to register to use the app, you can still get the same functionality from the vacuum by just using the buttons on the vacuum. You just won't be able to see the cleaning history. I like having this option to use the vacuum without having to register a new app on my phone. I have registered to use the app in the hopes that additional functionality may be added to the app over time, such as scheduling cleanings or setting different cleaning modes. There are some things I want to point out that this robotic vacuum does not do. First, I cannot schedule pool cleanings in the app for this vacuum. For example, when I am away on vacation, it would be nice to be able to leave the vacuum in the pool and schedule it to do 2 or 3 floor cleanings while I am away. This vacuum can easily clean just the floor of my pool in an hour so the long battery life would allow for it to do 2 or 3 cleanings before having to be taken out and recharged, but there is no way in the app to schedule these cleanings. Second, the instructions indicate that the pool pump should be turned off when this vacuum is used. I assume that is so the vacuum sensors are not thrown off by the water moving in the pool. What this means for me is that even if I could schedule pool cleanings while I was away (or even get a neighbor to put the vacuum in the pool for me), the pool would have to be off in order for the vacuum to work properly. My pool pump does not have a timer on it, so when I am away for vacation, I just leave it running and this pool vacuum does not like that. In my case, I do have an older robotic vacuum that does allow for scheduled cleanings, so I can use that. However, it does not do as good a job of cleaning the pool as this one does. Overall, I am very impressed with this robotic pool vacuum. It is extremely easy to operate and does a great job of cleaning my pool. While I have listed some things I wish this pool vacuum could do, I still believe this is the best robotic pool vacuum I have ever tried. It is a great option for cleaning your pool when you are able to place it in the pool and remove it between cleanings. Also, the "15 certifications, including ETL, CEC, and IP68, ensuring safety and environmental compliance" help to assure you are getting a well thought out, quality item.
