Tales getting used to
Have this on my primary workstation. Still need to refer to the VIA app to tweak keys sometimes. Iโm at the point now where using a regular keyboard is actually harder. Looks awesome. Replaced most of the keys with custom ones. Still use a num pad. Happy with my purchase even though it was 5x the price of even the most expensive gaming keyboard Iโve bought.

More than just a keyboard
As a keyboard it is a keyboard that you need to train yourself on a little. With QMK you can configure the keyboard to your hearts desire, so as perfect as you make it. Here is a look at the profiles (layers) I have set up; 1. qwerty a. (sub) F1 - F12 (reverts after single key press) with TRANS b. (sub) F13 - F24 (reverts after single key press) with TRANS 2. mouse and led customisation 3. joystick - keys set as 32 joystick buttons (mirrored on left and right sides). Keyboard registers as gaming device. Had to move buttons used as wasd to esdf for comfort and function. Setting gaming functionality for these "buttons" is done using a 3rd party application called Xpadder. This board replaces my normal qwerty keyboard as well as the Razer Tartarus (incl nostromo N52 and other half keyboards for gaming). I currently prefer the form of the Tartarus but the function of the Hot Dox, and once programmed you can remove all of the QMK software (no bloatware, no always online, etc unlike Synapse). With just a little time I believe I will like the form and the function more than any other device I have ever used. Install the QMK software locally for maximum programability as the web-based VIA and QMK dont go as deep.

One of my better tech investments
Wrist pain gone. Took a little bit to get used to the ortholinear layout, but once you get through the pain of a slower typing speed for a few weeks, you'll hate having to use someone else's keyboard that isn't split with thumb clusters. Software is great. Works on Linux.

A dream split keyboard.
A quality build of an ergodox clone. USB-C, nice keys, nice cables. It really is a dream to type on.

Great Keyboard!
Love the board, but I wish the configuration software had more options/features.
