So far love the phone, it doesn't feel as strong as the z fold6, but it matches the quality! It has a better battery and the front screen being bigger is wonderful! The experience of going from the outside screen to the inner is seemless. One warning which no one tells you, if you buy from amazon you CANNOT buy insurance from google, so i would 100% suggest buying insurance from amazon with the purchase of the phone. Last tip, if you buy the phone and plan on getting the watch and headphones, get the phone first, open the gemini app and sign up for the free 12 months of google + gemini, you then get 10% cashback on all google store purchases, so currently you get £50 in store credit (during the current promotion) when buying the watch as well as an extra 40-50 for the google one plan. Same for the headphones, £30 and the extra 40-50.

OK while it worked but some internal component broke after 9 months and Google's UK support is basically a load of 3rd parties you can choose between. I'm off to collect the device from Google (iSmash) who couldn't source a part from someone Google (someone else?) and have no path forward on my Warranty after ~30 days. Considering legal options which is dull :(

Great phone quality, very speedy and responsive, feels good, easy to use Only downside is finding a decent phone case to fit

I have been using the Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold in my daily routine and it has been a really good experience so far. The foldable display is one of the features I enjoy most. Opening it up during the day to check messages or watch something feels smooth and natural. When it is folded it still works fine for quick one handed use even if it is a bit thicker than a regular phone. The triple rear camera system has been great for everyday photos. Whether I am outside or indoors the pictures come out clear and sharp. The hands free video feature has been useful while cooking or doing tasks around the house. Gemini has also been helpful for simple reminders and quick questions throughout the day. It feels fast and easy to use. I give it 4 stars mainly because the battery drains a bit faster on busy days especially when I use the larger screen a lot more.

I was looking to get either the 9 pro or 9 pro XL. Then came across this, watched some reviews and decided to spend a months rent on it :D It's great, if you want to protect it, get the Spigen case BUT make sure you get the accompanying Spigen screen protector for the front screen (if you want a screen protector). Others may well not fit with the case. Bare in mind the case does make it hefty thing but all phones are massive now anyway! Fold phones are great, its a phone, its a kindle, its a great media device, install an emulator you can play gamecube etc games on the big screen, its a tablet, albeit a mini tablet. It's expensive sure, but what isn't nowadays. You get years of updates so all good. Will the fold incur issues in the future? That's future me's problem. It's a cool thing and there to be enjoyed, get insurance and then you're covered.

I moved for Samsung to the Pixel and can honestly say no regrets. I previously had the Z5 fold which was a cracking phone but the pixel fold is on another level. Comparing to it's Samsung equivalent it was a no brainer on what it can do and price. The phone feels solid, well made and looks the business. It's seriously easy to use and even better it's not bloated with another manufacturer software. The feel is solid and robust. The folding out makes streaming a game changer. As well as multi tasking using 2 apps together is amazing.

This will be a pretty short review with the hope that others can learn from my mistake. As you will have guessed from the title, if you buy this phone get yourself a good quality case that also protects the hinge! As you can see (hopefully) in the pictures, from a very small dent in the hinge, the entire internal screen has been rendered useless. This was the result of a short drop (genuinely around 6 inches) having slid out of my pocket, and then landed directly on the hinge itself. This has slightly bent the hinge in and ruined the internal screen. It has now been sent off to be fixed by Google (which in itself was surprisingly a very difficult task to organise) and as it's physical damage, it's not covered by warranty. So my advice - invest in a suitable case (and potentially insurance). Outside of that, as a phone, in the two weeks I had it I absolutely loved it and I'm sure I will when I get it fixed. The front screen and functionality works so well that I rarely need to open the phone just to be able to use it. The primary function of the internal screen for me was to utilise it's size and accessibility for work (documents/spreadsheets/writing notes/web tools) without having to always carry a laptop with me, which it was perfect for. Battery life was a lot better than expected, easily getting through a day on my regular usage without any problems. No over heating issues. Screen brightness I've had no problems in bright sunlight. Processing is perfectly adequate and very fast in my experience without doing anything that is massively taxing. Everything seems to run smoothly switching between the front screen and opening up to use the internal screen. Plus some of the features to utilise both screens are really cool and handy. So overall the phone I was super pleased with up until the accident that damaged the hinge and screen. I appreciate that if I loved the phone and it was my own fault for not having a case (literally arrived shortly after this happened!) then I should probably rate it higher than 3 stars. My reasoning behind only 3 is that although I appreciate the niche quality of the phone in terms of there will be sacrifices in robustness to be able to create a foldable phone like this, I would still expect such an important part of the phone to be just a little bit more robust and able to better withstand a minor impact like that mine had. That being said, if you are interested in this kind of phone/tablet hybrid and would utilise it then this is a brilliant phone - just make sure you protect it appropriately!

Very bad phone, the microphone does not work always, bulky and very slow phone, not worth the price at all, i feel i was scammed

À choisir entre un Z-Fold (j'ai eu le 2ème et 4ème), je préfère le pliable de Google ... Android sans chipotage, surcouche ... L'écran externe plus large est un plus. Pour l'autonomie je n'ai aucune remarque, c'est dans la norme pour ce genre de smartphone. En bref, rien à reprocher au Pixel 9 Pro Fold !

I hadn’t tried a Pixel phone since the Pixel 2 XL, which was one of my all time favorite devices. I decided to stick to Apple’s ecosystem since then, just for simplicity sake, since the rest of our family all use iPhones. I decided to bite the bullet and dip my toe back in the Android world with the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, and I have to say, I could not be happier with the decision. Battery life has been phenomenal and I’ve not hit the end of a day where I was lower than 60% left. That’s with a fairly extensive use of the device, including video watching, replying to emails, using navigation, and some casual browsing. I don’t really do much game playing so I can’t speak to that. Phone quality has felt fantastic. I’ve no complaints what so ever on how the device feels in the hand, or behaves. The OS feels buttery smooth and the hardware is just delightful to use. All of the screens are very good, but being a foldable, it’s really all about that interior display, and I’ve been thoroughly pleased with it. There is a slight crease where the phone folds but you honestly don’t notice it when you’re using the device. Just if the light hits it just right or you’re dragging something with your finger across the length of it. But that’s true of all foldable. Durability seems good, although it’s early days. I’d highly recommend a case that protects the hinge because I’ve been reading a few reports online of folks getting small rocks or even sand trapped in the hinge or inner display and it causing problems. No surprises there really, I’d expect that to be a risk. The face unlock works pretty well, except in low light conditions. But the fingerprint reader works flawlessly so, unlike my iPhone, I’m not forced to immediately resort to a PIN. Also, if you pair this with a Pixel Watch 3, the watch can act like you’re biometric unlock, so you almost never need to deal with any of that anyway. Great stuff!

Even on sale this phone is still very expensive, but I decided to treat myself. I have eyesight limitations which make reading a small screen problematic and some Apps don't allow for enlargement. The larger screen works great in most circumstances. The phone has all the features I wanted like wireless charging, 5G and a high end camera system. Migration of Apps and data from my old Samsung was very easy and even the SIM card transfers digitally. The only thing I didn't like was the very slippery feel of the phone in my hands. It takes a bit of dexterity to open the fold feature without the phone slipping through the fingers. This made me worry about dropping it especially when using the camera. I invested in a genuine leather case by Torro which makes the phone bulkier, but also makes it feel much more secure in my hands. I highly recommend the case as well.

Deutliche Verbesserung gegenüber dem Vorgängermodell in allen Belangen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist, dass man aufgrund des Formfaktors das Pixel 9 Pro Fold wie ein ganz normales Smartphone nutzen kann und bei Bedarf (zum Beispiel Fotos ansehen, Videos schauen, Lesen, Schreiben) das große Innnendisplay aufklappt. Wunderbar heller und kontrastreicher Bildschirm. Tolle Performance. Gute Kamera.
