Lagunitas Brewing Company Bottle Cap Texas. Although this craft beer is brewed in Petaluma, CA and Chicago, IL; we have adopted it today capturing these caps in an outline of Texas and arranging them to mimic the Texas Flag. OK - the colors are black instead of blue and gold instead of white; but what do those Californians know? So if you are a transplant Californian to Texas or just love Lagunitas Beer, this is for you! Dimensions are approximately 16" by 15" -- longest point to longest point (El Paso to Gulf; Panhandle to Brownsville). Caps are flattened and then nailed to 5/8" veneer-faced, medium density fiberboard from a 1960's bookshelf. They overlap so you only see bottle caps, no wood. Topped with a semi-gloss rustoleum seal. Star is made from metal. Hanger in back is balanced and the hole has been notched so it hangs flat against the wall. Sides of plywood have been painted to match cap color (i.e. black, gold, and red).
