I left 4 stars because we used it twice and there is a piece of the steering that is very loose and a screw head already broke off of the front and I'm not sure if it was like that already or if it happened in the 2 times we drove it. Hopefully I can find the same screw at Home Depot or somewhere. Other than that I think the car is fast it goes very well in hard mud and big huge rocks and over bumps and gravel and loose grass. The headlights are big and bright. I haven't tried it in water yet. It goes well over hills and I charged both batteries for 8 hrs and the first one went for about an hour. The car is pretty big compared to my 4 year old and the remote is easy for him to use. It is 3/2026 and I changed it to 5 stars because I realized there was no piece missing it is supposed to look like that after I bought 4 more RC cars. Nothing compared to this one though the other ones I bought kept breaking. I think I'm going to rebuy this one in a different color.

Very slow I thought it would be a little faster

This rc truck is small but mighty. I took it through a pothole filled with water and it handled impressively. It did float and I was able to steer it out of there with no trouble. The overhead roof lights are weak and the truck runs a little slow so you can't do wheelies or peel out. But the battery life lasts a long time. It's still running after 35 minutes on one of the batteries. Overall a great rc truck and inexpensive!

My son had fun with this at first, unfortunately the quality of some suspension parts are not high and there is not an easy way to swap out parts. Wiring is cheap and breaks easily and again is very difficult to repair. Certainly not worth $60. Might be worth it for half that price.

Warranty is like pulling teeth. Pain full, unable to contact seller through Amazon. Amazon will send you a link to China, Don’t buy the Asurion plan. They want an email from Seller before you can use the plan. You have to wait a year Good luck

We purchased this RC truck in December 2024 for Christmas. The truck steering stopped functioning in May, less than five months after being given as a gift. The truck was only used a handful of times. I reached out to the seller to ask about replacement or warranty, but found it of little help. Typically, I don't like to give out one-star reviews. However, for the price, feel like the RC car should last for more than a few months. A true disappointment. Was fun while it lasted.

I got this a couple of months ago for my 4 year old. It's been treated quite rough, smashing into walls and off drops etc as well as driven in mud, sand and water. Some decorative parts have snapped off but it's still fully functional and has held up well against abuse. All I would say is the steering is poor, the servo doesn't seem powerful enough and does not get the wheels to anywhere near full lock, even when it was new. But all in all a good value rc that can handle rough play.

The BananMelonBM Big Amphibious RC Truck is a chunky toy that honestly is a lot of fun but it does have its flaws. While the truck itself is well build with reactive suspension and a rigid body, it’s somewhat let down but the control system which is purely digital. Steering and motor control are on or off, there’s no fine control at all. The wheels are either full lock (with a large turning circle) or straight and the power is full on or nothing. This isn’t a deal breaker when considering that this is not an expensive item, but well worth noting in my opinion. Using the toy is very easy, the battery compartment is sealed against water ingress and accessed by rotating four tabs. You get two batteries with the truck which does help keep the fun going, with the batteries charged using the supplied USB A charger (though no adaptor). It’s not the fastest RC toy I’ve tried but is fun bouncing it over obstacles. Probably best for younger kids.

My 10 year old boy had specific requirements for an RC car: Waterproof 4 wheel drive Be able to go off-road This ticks all the boxes! It has a two batteries included and each lasts around 30 mins, even with going through deep muddy puddles. It’s not particularly fast for a radio controlled car, but that is not what this is built for. It seems well built and very easy to drive. Not for indoor use! It has a big thumbs up from my son and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others.
