bought this to replace NEXAS NexLINK Bluetooth OBD2 Scanner. The NexLINK would connect and after ~30 secs Communication Error. The Vgate iCar Pro 2S Bluetooth OBD2 Code Reader BLE 5.2, works flawlessly. I'm using it with OBD Fusion (paid version), on iPhone 15 iOS 26.1

This item worked flawlessly with OBD JScan and a newer Samsung phone. No Bluetooth connection problems. The high frequency of returns seems likely to be related to people using Amazon and the product together as a rental service; I doubt it's a quality issue. Incidentally, for Jeep Wrangler owners, the iCar with OBD JScan made it easy to disable the dash warning light about an electronic sway bar failure. There is no longer an electronic sway bar to fail.

Does exactly everything you'd expect and works with all open apps. Also great and friendly documentation

I bought this code reader to diagnose and clear codes in the cars on our household and it works as it should about half of the time. I have an iPhone 15 and the Bluetooth connection cuts on and off, making any task annoying and taking twice as long as it should. When it does work you are able to reach the more complex/advanced settings that usually the cheaper "light" code readers do not allow you to. One thing that I do like is that it is compatible with multiple phone apps, so if you have a preference of one app over another you are able to choose your preferred one.

This is a very good product! I got my new car from seller. But unfortunately it pop up three warnings light in two days. They checked and told me it was due to faulty o2 sensor and need to order parts for replacement. I then went to my garage and ask them to check whether it is true or not. The mechanics plug the obd2 checker in front of me. However the pad cannot start the diagnosis. He told me to return the car and said the car is faulty even and even can’t do the test. After that I back home, my order arrived . I install immediately. I am a very beginner. And I can connect to my car! I started the diagnosis. It list there is only one code. Saying faulty o2 sensor! I.e matched with what the seller said. Even better, I can clear the code. I understand the code will pop up again very soon unless I replaced the sensor. But at least, I am certain that this is the only fault at the moment! And I believe I need to change my garage as they can’t even my service reminder last time they did engine service for me.

Ich nutze diesen Adapter nun am 2. Fahrzeug, erstes war ein Passat B8.5 aus 2024(einer der letzten alten) und nun an einem 2022 Arteon Shooting Brake. In Verbindung mit der App die ein blauses Motor Symbol zeigt, kann ich Werte in Echtzeit beobachten und sogar Codierungen anpassen. z.B. Coming Home/Leaving Home auf Auto setzen, das Rücklicht als Tagfahrlicht codieren oder beim Analogen Tacho(Passat) die Zeiger Animation aktivieren.

Works fine with skoda ev

Better than another cheaper one that I used. Easily paired with app. Fits on OBD2 a lot. Warning light on Kia Niro Phev kept coming on. Used to go off by the time seen at Kia Service centre. This kit identified it was O2 sensor at fault. Kia confirmed so and replaced it under warranty. Will use it again if any fault crops up. Happy with it.
