Hits the Goldilocks zone of EDC
Best EDC for the money and for the Common Man. I was one of the first tool salesmen to sell the first Leatherman back in the '80s, but was never one to have an EDC myself - until I found myself always looking for a tool in recent years. This hits the sweet spot; not too big, not too small. Not too expensive, not too cheap. The main blade is one of the best types of steel, VG-10. The scissors aren't just a cheap add-on but a big reason to choose this. It's got a proper jeweler's screwdriver, reversible Phillips and slotted at that. Both the saw and the 'rip' blades are seriously capable, the hex driver and extra bits better than many dedicated drivers, and the file - not to mention the usual can/bottle opener, wire stripper, large flat blade, the pliers head with replaceable wire cutters and visible measurements on the rounded handle are extremely well machined. The titanium-coated handle makes it smooth, cool and comfortable to the touch and the clip makes it the perfect size and weight. It's got that "IT" factor and IMHO is probably the best EDC knife out there, and I did a lot of research before settling on it. Glad I waited for it to come back in stock.

Here is the real breakdown about this multi-tool no BS
I was looking for the ultimate worlds best multi-tool so I would not have to ever replace them due to breakage or warranty issues ever.I researched Leatherman, SOG (Special Operations Group), and Gerber etc.I have had them all.Well after about 1 year of research and You tube reviews by the 100's I finally committed to get the top o the line Rocktol 27 devices in 1, Gen 2, V10 blade, multi-tool.I carry this in my EDC pack wherever I go and so far I am not disappointed. It has nothing on it that is proprietary so you can upgrade your bits that are all standard 1/4", You can upgrade your saw blade and the scissors are great! It is the best you can get, and it is a Chinese made multi-tool, and it is now on top of the heap.Until U.S. manufacturers, (who claim by the way it is all made here but its not,)ever get it together to beat this tool made in China, I will be watching and waiting for this to happen. In my INCH (I'm Never Coming Home) Bag, I have the top of the line 27 in 1 S.O.G. Multi-tool,with ratchet and bit kit. It is much heavier and made for the replacement of much bigger tools so its not really an Every Day Carry multi-tool.If you want the best multitool as of 3-2025 this one is the best you can get and it will last a long time without fail.I hope this helps out my fellow people out there. It is much heavier and would be usedYes I love mostly U.S.A. made stuff, but this manufacturer made a serious

Love the blade lock system
I love how everything locks in place. Others do not and may slice a finger if you take a full grip. A full grip should never be used on any knife that does not have blade lock. This one does and the price was excellent. I lost the bits that come with it. those fall out to easy. My other brand I never lost the bits. Maybe they'll read this and send me replacements.

Very tight out of the box
Overall, it’s a well made tool. It came very tight out of the box. It’s impossible to open the knife or the serrated gut hook blade with one hand the way it came out of the box. The VG10 blade was really the only reason I chose this tool. I was able to loosen the hinge screws on each side to release pressure and it seems adequate and much easier to open now. The biggest detractor at this point is that the saw rubs the side when closing into the frame. It’s not bent, but I’m not sure if it can be adjusted. The saw doesn’t line up well with the frame. Maybe it’s missing a washer or something. I don’t know. On a positive note, the frame lockup on the scissors and the blades is outstanding. I’m considering returning to see if the next one has the same issue with the saw. Hope helpful.Edit: I returned the first one and received a replacement in two days. The blades were tight again but it was easy to adjust. Just relieving a little pressure allows the blades to open easily. Most importantly, the saw opens and closes without striking the case. Maybe this is why it’s a frequently returned item. Overall, I’m still satisfied with it. It’s a well made, solid tool. Quality control seems to be a bit lacking though. I recommend it.

Like this tool
These are great buys to have a multi tool that is halfway decent. If you can’t afford one of the bigger names however, the quality difference for the price is there. The tool set is decent. If you overwork it I’m not sure how it would stand up. I use it for light duty. I’m a computer technician And I haven’t had any problems with it at this point. Remember you get what you pay for.

Solid tool
This is a solid, well made tool that is comfortable to hold when it is in use. I see this is listed on the product page as being a frequently returned item. The only thing with mine was it was pretty tight out of the box, and the torx screws on the pivot and handles were way too tight. The pocket clip was really in the way, mostly because it would hand up on the supplied sheath and be a pain the holster after use. I had to remove mine. That was when I found out that the clip was mounted what I consider backwards. By this I mean that the two handle screws are both two piece and the clip was mounted on the female side of the screw, which means you have to wind up with a laborious reassemble project, as that fat end of the screw has to come out to get the clip off. If the screw was placed the other way with the male end at the pocket clip it would be easy to just remove the small male screw to expose the clip which can be easily removed and the screw reinstalled. The sheath in general is pretty worthless as the tool will hang up on the interior bit pocket when you try to reinsert the tool after use. I threw it away. I would personally like to see a T-shank adapter where the blade is.The above aside, I really like the tool. The blade seems to be the real deal. Comes out of the box sharp enough for surgery. This what I use when I want something a little smaller than a Surge style tool.
