Battery lead faulty, totally useless product!!!
I purchased this item based on the reviews which was a huge mistake in my part. The battery lead was faulty and didn't work which made the product totally useless and I them tee away the original packaging, silly me, so had no way of returning the awkward shaped box without a huge effort. What a total and complete waste of money, it's boils by blood to be without recourse on a product that was completely faulty.

Didn't give it more than four stars because I've only used it for a week. It pumps well enough for being battery operated. I was concerned about a screw that holds one of the pieces together, afraid it might be an issue since that part is submerged in water. After pumping through one five-gallon bottle it hasn't rusted so I assume it's stainless steel. For the price + free shipping this pump is a deal - just as long as that metal screw doesn't rust out.

Culligan wanted $40 for this. Works great for our distilled water - can fill a smaller jug or the humidifiers directly!

It doesn't work
My product didn't work. The machine makes the noise as if it's pumping but no water comes out. It also disassembles when you move it just a little bit.All I wanted was a refund but the seller made it difficult for me to get one. He sent me another product for free but it didn't work either. I ended up throwing away both of them and wasting my money. Wouldn't buy from this seller again.

I'm very glad to have the pump rather than have to do ...
It does work. However, it's not possible just to turn the switch on and have it work. It's necessary to actually hold the button the entire time you want the pump to continue working. I'm very glad to have the pump rather than have to do this job manually.

BEWARE!! Will flood your home with 5 gallons of water.
The pump does work but the switch is defective. It will pump water in both the ON AND OFF position. When you turn out off it keeps going. There's nothing better than coming home to 5 gallons of water on your floor when you've turned out off before you left. Be cautious when using or leave outdoors to water your lawn in case it decides to turn on while you're away.
