Great for heavy rust removal on steel. Fast and efficient. A great alternate to sand blasting

I bought TWO of these, thinking that I'd wear out the first one quickly
Very abrasive, perfect for removing the several coats of paint from 40 year old wood bridge deck. Yes, it's work. but the best paint removal I've come across yet! I heat the paint with a propane torch first to make it soften and bubble up. Then, 10 seconds of this wire brush in my Conditioning Tool makes the paint come off like a bad sunburn. I have 90-feet of bridge decking (Douglas fir) to clean and stain. Getting close to half way done. Wear eye protection and beathing filter/apparatus. Else, your eyes can be damaged and lungs the color of the old paint.

Looks good
I have a 60 grit wheel but I wanted something a little coarser so I got this which is 40 grit. I have no reason to use it right now so that will have to wait. Comparing it to the other wheels I have now, this looks just as well constructed and functional as any of the others I have so I anticipate no problems with this wheel at all. If the price is right for you, I would say go for it if you have the need.
