Wot!? - No permanent cork or stopper???!
Creme de Menthe is my little Çhristmas treat for me. I very rarely drink alcohol - except at Christmas time and then only a small measure or two at the most. It arrived today and I couldn't resist opening it. Big mistake!!! I was dismayed to find that after cutting away the flimsy foil-like covering from the neck of the bottle, it's left the bottle virtually open for the foreseeable future. I delved into my "Odds and Ends" drawer but could only find 2 old corks, neither of which fitted the bottle. The drink itself tasted OK-ish - not as good as I remembered! - but how it will taste after a few days or maybe weeks of being exposed to the elements, does not fill me with unmitigated joy of anticipation. It's totally spoilt by lack of a suitable air-tight screw top or a cork that fits the bottle. I would therefore not recommend it and certainly not at that price - or indeed ANY price. Total waste of money. Sorry - I usually only give good, positive reviews, but I don't want anyone else to be caught as I have been.

It's exactly what I expected - bought it to make an experimental coctail and im happy to say it is the best cocktail ever - one shot glass of this liqueur, one shot glass of vodka and fill up with chocolate milk and got yourself heaven in a glass!

Somebody - please give me the grasshopper recipe !
Well, it is a lurid green, and tastes very strongly of mint, a slightly artificial one. The recipe I had, involving vanilla icecream, this, icecubes & fizzy water - to be honest tasted like I was drinking toothpaste. I m willing to try the legendary "Grasshopper" - otherwise this will still be at the back of my cupboard in 10 years time. Cheers!

Super Produkt!
Der Likör kam heile und wie auf dem Bild beschrieben an. Es schmeckt sehr stark nach Pfefferminz, da reichen schon 2 cl, wenn nicht sogar weniger. Ich finde den sehr lecker, aber das ist natürlich Geschmackssache. Der Preis für den Likör ist in Ordnung, die Versandkosten fand ich allerdings sehr teuer.
