Gaun Laying Rollaway Metal Nest Box (Inserts)

Just turned 40, most of my friends are off to celebrate in New York and I am on Amazon buying Rollaway Nest Boxes! They are not, as described, 'Metal" but plastic ... nevertheless, they are handy, practical and work really well! Before we had them we had broody hens and lots of broken eggs .... problem solved swiftly and without breaking the bank!

These do not work. They tip up and move about unless secured down. If they are secured down then it is impossible to clean the nesting boxes. The roll away bit is not steep enough and where it rolls to is still easily accessible to a chicken. Thoroughly disappointed with the product.

It is not metal!!! Having said that, I think the plastic might be more comfortable for the chickens.

Fitted to a purpose built nest box made from wood. The chickens like them enough to want to sleep in. I like them as they keep the eggs clean and away from the naughty hen who like to eat egg!

Not suitable for purpose roll off is not steep enough chickens can still reach the eggs also too light moves around a lot chickens have tipped it up would not recommend
