Silverline Wallpaper Guide Knife 600mm (457066)

This is a very useful tool for getting a straight cut at the top and bottom of your wallpaper hanging. Wallpaper is notoriously difficult to cut cleanly and without tearing when it is wet with paste. This tool allows you trap the wallpaper against the wall and cut it with a sharp blade in one easy cut. The results are impressive and having used one recently I would not attempt to hang wallpaper without one now. Much easier than using scissors. Not a bad price either and delivered quickly. Great tool, highly recommended.

This is an amazing piece of kit! Wish I had known about it sooner. Makes such a difference when cutting wallpaper. You owe it to yourself to get one, don't even think about it, just do it!

This tool comes into play when you have true straight edges. As I found out my ceiling wasn’t a straight edge so had to rely on my triangular edge cutter to trim the paper on its own. I did use this tool on the verticals and it worked well. If you have an older type house with lots of hands plastered walls you may not find this efficient.

Actually better than I thought it would be. Perfect straight lines when cutting wall paper, and I am not a professional either.

Does the job perfectly! It allows you to trim wallpaper to a straight edge, a very useful tool and makes trimming wallpaper much quicker and cleaner lines Mine had a perfect straight edge and wasn’t bent at all and it is very sturdy Would recommend for painting too as a guide

I was a little sceptical about this straight edge and I fact sceptical about using a Knife to cut wet wallpaper in general. I have tried in the past and found regardless how sharp the knife is, it tends to drag and tear the wet wallpaper. The addition of this straight edge however holds the wallpaper right right at the knife edge and the results are brilliant. Like most I expect, the walls and corners in our house are not square or particularly sharp or constant. Using this straight edge keeps the cut dead straight regardless if it is inside the square corner or along the inside of a radius. Similarly along coving it’s ceiling edge, skirtings or anything else that’s a straight line, this gave a superior result. It is worth noting that a very sharp blade is still required. I recommend the use of snap off blades knifes to keep a constant sharp edge I am very pleased I bought this product. It has given a much more precise finish to my wallpapering efforts and I highly recommend it.

Ce produit permet vraiment de faire des bords très propres. Bien sûr à condition d'être ferme. Un petit bémol sur la livraison par Colis privé qui a été erratique.

Cette règle est légère et de bonne qualité pour le prix auquel elle est vendue. J’ai pu découper du papier intissé et du tapis de sol sans aucun soucis.
