This item works very well, and is easy to put together. The long tube is very convenient in allowing water to disperse far from where it originally comes in. The low profile helps in tight spaces.

I purchased the Prestantious Low Profile Catch Basin Drain Kit Downspout Extender to help improve drainage around my home, especially in areas where heavy rain tends to collect and create small pools near the foundation. The kit includes a 12" x 12" catch basin, a flexible pipe with a 2" inner diameter, and an extender that stretches up to about 16.4 feet, which is a good length for redirecting water a safe distance away. The installation process was straightforward, even for someone like me who is not a professional landscaper. The low-profile design made it easy to position near the downspout without being an eyesore in the yard. The catch basin itself feels durable and strong, able to handle the water flow without warping or shifting. I also like that the flexible pipe bends easily, which makes it simple to route around landscaping or obstacles without needing additional connectors. After the first rainfall, I immediately noticed the difference. Water that used to pool near my back patio was now being directed further out into the yard where it could safely disperse. This has helped keep my foundation dry and also reduced muddy spots near walkways. Another plus is that the grate on top of the basin does a decent job of catching leaves and debris while still allowing water to flow through. Overall, this kit offers solid value for the price. Works very well for drain hose from our 300 gallon IBC tank. Connected it to a 2" quick connect from Amazon 275-330 Gallon IBC Tote Tank Adapter,3-Size IBC Tote Hose Adapter, 2.44" Fine, 2 "Fine, and 2" Coarse Thread,3/4" Male NPT Inlet ×3/4" Male GHT Lead-Free Brass Hose Faucet Garden Hose Connector cam. It expands to full length or partially and compacts back to original 3 foot length for easy storage. It lets us back up to animal water troughs and fill them without having to park exactly over them. Great addition for watering our animals all over the farm.

This drain with tube is a well built product that solved a simple yet problematic issue of every rain downpour pushing mulch from the gutter to the stone pavers. Over the years have used redirecting rubber floor covers however with still water flow issues, however this one has a large enough basin to catch the rainwater and redirect it with a 3 inch tube to other plants to make it truly multipurpose. The quality of the make seems sturdy. We will see living in the south whether it will hold up to the UV/sun. Word of advice is to bury the box however also make sure the tubing is at a lower elevation or water will pool. I slightly tilted the box so that there will be a minimum of standing water.
