Yesterday it said that this product fit my 2015 ford focus but now it states it does not? Is this the correct Motorcraft filter?

It fit my 2014 Focus , not sure why it won’t fit a 2015.Might want to call the Ford dealer and ask them.

Does the FA1908 Motorcraft air filter have the little tab at the bottom?

Agreed, it does fit correctly. Use a couple of drops of oil or dish soap to lubricate the opening so it will slide into position. My 2014 Escape housing has a small slot at the bottom (6 o'clock) where the tab on the large closed round end must seat. Once in place, the cover will fit easily into place.

Yes it fits on my 2018 RS. You need to twist and squish the side near the opening to shrink it enough to get it to fit, but it will go right in after that.
