Purchased as a present and incentive for our grandson. He’s been really reluctant to read, but these joke books have given him a boost. He’ll memorize a joke and find his parents so he can make them laugh. Now he’s reading other things for his teacher as well.

Lots and lots of jokes in this book. Many of them are really nice & funny - but there are also plenty that some kids may find confusing. Overall quite enjoyable and worth gifting to any 9-year old.

My son asked me to write this review since it’s his book, but he said the jokes are funny - there were a few he kinda scratched his head on but there were several where he would bust up laughing before he could get through the entire joke. Overall, great purchase because my 9 year old loves them.

This book is a big Yes! My 9 year old stepson loves it. The jokes are age appropriate and really funny. My stepson is not a reader and he is reading this joke book all the time and needless to say we share a few laughs with him in the process. I recommend this book to any 9 year old!

My nine year old niece loved this book and spent her birthday entertaining us all with the jokes. A real variety from Doctor Doctor, to Waiter Waiter plus a while load of other more traditional question and answer jokes. Some will make you groan but lots will make you laugh!

This is for my grandson's birthday in August. I just know that he is going to love this book. I have been flicking through it and laughing.

This was a present for my joke-loving grandson on his eighth birthday. I thought the jokes funnier than those in the book for eight year-olds and it has certainly been a great success. My criteria are, does it make me laugh, too and can I stand hearing it repeated a zillion times. This scores highly on both counts; I definitely recommend it.

My son has had every one of these books since the age of 5, we are.now purchasing them for his little sister on each birthday. Just wish that they went past the age of 9 as we can't carry on the tradition next year on his birthday.
