Now that it's been a few weeks of me using these, I'd say that these serving trays are definitely practical, even if they aren't the flashiest things around. We've been using them a lot for family movie nights, especially since one of the little ones prefers his food to stay separate. The compartments are a decent size—certainly enough for arranging smaller snacks, fruits, crisps without everything falling together.They're sturdy enough and lightweight, which is nice because it means no worries about spills when carrying them around. While they don't have a ton of depth, it's enough for a good amount of snacks but anything with a lot of volume might fall out if you aren't careful enough. With that said, they've been a real help in keeping things organized during those movie nights, and even though they're simple in design, they're just super handy to have...
