Awesome Trellis!
This trellis far exceeded my expectations. It is well-made and easy to assemble. I was particularly impressed by the metal "feet" that made it extremely easy to seat in concrete for a secure installation. To enhance its appearance, and primarily until I can get some vines growing on it, I added rosettes to the joints, and added a decorative applique to the center. Staining them to match the trellis was simple. I would make a friendly suggestion to Greenstone that they offer such pieces as an option for this and their other fine items.

Pretty cool thing
Well this arrived very quickly after I ordered it. Just a flat box, not that heavy. I was able to assemble this in about an hour. All I needed was my power drill to drive the screws for the most part. It went together easily with a few just a few mistakes that I noticed immediately and easily remedied. (Had one of the arches backwards so the staples were facing out) Not a big deal but I changed it out anyway. Gotta say I love it in front of my house with a huge flowering vine all over it. Looks swell. I'd buy another if I ever need one. It's a great affordable, attractive entry feature.I got the white one which is stained, not painted, which works for me but it would be fine to paint over the stain if desired. The wood is a good quality with no splits or splinters which was also a plus. I'm TOTALLY HAPPY with this product/ purchase.

nice but mislabeled or dishonestly labeled
Nice cedar arch especially for the price, went together without real difficulty, screws a bit cheap and I replaced/added a few stainless steel ones, sturdy once well screwed-together and staked (though I didn't go as far a pouring cement as suggested in instructions). Here's the weird thing: This "Greenstone Natural Garden Arch" is actually a "Four Seasons Arch" made in China; Amazon claims it's Greenstone, and the label on the shipping box says Greenstone, but you open it up and it's Four Seasons. And zero mention of the wood coming from managed forests, making Amazon's claim "the wood comes from forests that are carefully managed and reforested for future generations" suspect, and since it comes from China I'm even more suspicious about the wood. The Greenstone website (greenstonewholesale.com) does not list this arch among their arches, and all their cedar arches are at a much higher price point. But this Four Seasons Arch is definitely the arch Amazon is selling--it's IDENTICAL to Amazon's photo and to the other aspects of the product description there. I'm happy enough with the arch but I wouldn't have bought it if I'd known the truth, because the idea that it came from managed forests was part of why I chose it--I don't really want to be part of (maybe) wholesale slaughter of forests in China. That's the reason for my 3-star review; for the price, I would have given it four stars except for this truth-in-advertising issue.

Great looking arbor immediately transformed the yard
The minute we put this at the beginning of a path in our yard it transformed the yard and gave it structure. Walking through the arbor made you feel you were entering something different even though it was just a simple wooden arch. We cemented the 4 posts into the ground which in our case is hard & rocky. We then concealed the concrete with pearock which covers the surface of our path. My husband is 6ft and he clears the arbor with about 6 inches to spare as we had to imbed about 6-8 inches in the ground. We planted a confederate jasmine on one side and plan to train it to grow up and over to the other side. The color is the color of cherry wood (it is NOT cherry wood) and I think it will fade to a grey-ish brown like some of my other outdoor products made of the same wood. That color will look better in the yard which has a lot of native plants in it. This is a great arbor for the price (under $80) and I am very happy with the quality of it.

Great price and quality!
For the price, especially, this arbor is great! It arrived in a large, tall, flat package. It took about 20-30 minutes for my husband to fully assemble. Then we moved it outside to our garden gate. We like the natural wood color and it's quite sturdy! Instead of staking it, as is suggested, we mounted it to the fence posts that had already been secured into the ground with concrete. It hasn't gone anywhere, despite strong winds. There is nothing weak or rickety about it, it's quite a lovely and sturdy fixture. Now the only problem is deciding when to plant near it. Clematis? Morning glory? Grapevine? Wisteria?I need more arbors, apparently.

Wood Arbor
Shipping was quick and the arbor came through in one piece. This is a nice, simple wood arbor that is very easy to put together. The top section is made up of two preassembled arch pieces and 8 cross struts that have to be attached at each end to the two arch pieces to complete the top section. The two side pieces are preassembled and attach to the top section with two bolts on each side. Four metal rods are included that screw onto the bottom legs, which can then be mounted into the ground for a more permanent setup. Otherwise, the arbor stand alone stability is a little questionable. The entire arbor is primed white, but I recommend an extra coat of paint to make it look nice. Why I took off a star: (1) Needs extra coat of paint. (2) The front and back top arched sections are premade with about 5 or 6 shorter curved wood pieces and the joints show. This is no problem for us as we are decorating the front and no one will see the back. (3) I am also attaching two 50 inch 1" X 2" strips across the bottom legs to make it sturdier as a stand alone for an indoor wedding. I would still buy this arbor again.

Easy set up... looked great.... untill the wind blew it over in a storm
I bought this Arbor as a Gift for my mother for christmas. I was impressed at how easy the assembly was and how great it looked. However, about two weeks after christmas I got a phone call. During the nite when it was snowing the wind knocked it over and the top two "arch" curves broke apart where they were glued together. I felt horrible! My mom is very crafty so she keeps instisting that she will wait till spring and glue it back together... I would not recommend buying if you live in a state that has winter it may not stay glued together
