I bought the UPEASY Lifting Cushion for my elderly father-in-law, who has difficulty getting to his feet from a seated position, and it has been a tremendous help.The cushion is easy to use and has made a noticeable difference in his daily routine. This uplift assist is very difficult to use. First, it is difficult to "mount"; secondly, it is very uncomfortable to sit on. I would like to return it and get a refund/credit on my account.Still haven't heard from vendor for return paper work.

I had purchased a lift recliner, but I also needed something for my office chair. I have arthritis in my knees and hips and getting out of a chair had become very difficult and painful. This lift device is a lifesaver! Some of the reviews I read were negative and I hesitated to order this, but am so glad I did. Yes you do have to place it on a hard surface and a chair without rollers and the seat isn't the softest, but these were no problem for me. The positives totally out way the negatives! Now I can sit at the computer or my sewing machine without dreading the pain and struggle to get up. I weigh 200 lbs. and the strongest setting works for me. I would recommend this to anyone needing this type of product.

This cushion is a GREAT help if you have trouble getting out of a chair or off a couch. As soon as you begin to lift yourself off the cushion, it begins to push you gently forward until you are standing. I have had injuries to both my legs from a back surgery and my husband would have to pull me out of my seating position. This cushion relieves him from the strain of pulling on me, and relieves me of the strain of getting on my feet again. For the money, this cushion is worth every penny.

This has been a game changer for my father in-law who has difficulty standing from the kitchen table with the aid of his walker. Usually, one or more people must assist him to a standing position. It has given him back some of his independence and he says thinks it is the best thing he has gotten since becoming immobile. It easily assists him to a standing position by pushing in just the right spot and is comfortable to sit on for long periods It has allowed them to go our to dinner without having to struggle to get him out of his chair when it is time to leave and has made going to the barber for a hair cut much easier.

I had a hip replacement and needed help standing up, and I did not have room for a stand-assist recliner and thought this seat would be good enough. It was not. It stays open at about a 45 degree angle, so to sit on it you have to ease your back side onto it and sit. This was not easy to do, although I did not have problems sitting to begin with, only standing, so this may be unique to my needs. It was also a bit narrow for my chairs (and my body) and not that comfortable to sit on because it added a few inches to the height of any chair and it just wasn’t wide enough to relax with. Also, you absolutely cannot use it with a recliner, you need a fairly firm, straight back chair, preferably with arms to help you start the standing process to activate the raising feature of the seat cushion.

My mom is using this at the dining room table with a wooden chair with arms. Works as well as described.

This is the second seat I have had and it broke, TODAY, in the same place as the other. I am 290 lbs and it should not brake when at the correct setting. The seat really helps me and it does not get abused. You say my return date window is May 11, but for what I pay for it, originally, it should last longer.
