J-B Weld InstantWeld 2 Pack - Clear, 2 Minute Set Epoxy Adhesive, Static Mixer No Mess Application - 14ml

My very old "plastic' but gorgeous outdoor fountain started leaking this year when I set up the porch for spring. The "bowl" that holds the pump had a hairline crack around the base. Water would not stay in the fountain. I could have bought a new fountain - but this one was a gift from a friend who is now deceased and I wanted to keep it as a memory of her. I was determined to repair it. A neighbor suggested this great epoxy. I followed the directions on the label and it worked perfectly. No fuss. No mess. It took just minutes to apply and set. The fountain is up and running. There was a bit leftover and I used it to repair the sole of my favorite loafers -- so it works on rubber too! This is a GREAT product. Highly recommended.

This stuff is what a welder would use if he wanted an alternative to actual welding, be it electric or torch welding with heat. The original is famous for it's strength but I chose this clear epoxy because it sets in a couple minutes clear and cured in an hour and was used as an extremely strong epoxy on an electrical board, so I wanted a non-conductive adhesive that dries quick and sets up strong. It certainly did that. I ALWAYs had terrible luck with super glues, and this was so much better I'll never try another one. This is just fantastic.

Easy to use and JB Weld can patch the crack of dawn.

Great product, but the applicator is not useful at all. If you’re buying for that, skip this and get the normal tube. Can’t be cleaned and will seal up after one use. 2 minutes is a bit misleading, as I’d say it’s pretty formed by the 60 second mark and hard to maneuver.

Works amazing!

I used this to fill in a dry rotted cavity about the size of my thumb on a cedar swing outside. Probably not what it's intended for but it worked and it looks great being that it dried perfectly clear and not yellow or white. The beautiful cedar color is all you notice. And the area is now solid as a rock, better than new. Worth the price. Easy to use.

I am a huge fan of J B Weld. I really like the twin tube dispenser. I like the clear epoxy. I like the precision dispenser however it a one time use. For small projects this is great. I highly recommend. Five stars.

Unfortunately, JB Weld glue did not live up to the advertised claims. The product description says it can withstand high pressure, cures in 2 minutes, and remains clear. In reality, it did not cure within the promised time, stayed wet, and failed to hold plastic together. When I tried to fix a headlight, everything completely fell apart. Overall, the product does not match the stated specifications.
