Love this…saved me from fast rotting food

I bought this mason jar vacuum sealer mainly to vacuum-seal lamb and other meats, and it's been an absolute game-changer! The vacuum bags are fantastic for locking in freshness, and the best part is how simple it is to use. Just press 30s or 60s, and it takes care of the rest, automatically stopping when all the air is removed. I had previously purchased a standard mason jar vacuum sealer kit, but it was quite a hassle to switch adapters between wide and regular mouth mason jars. I also needed something that could handle sealing meats in reusable vacuum bags. This sealer solves both problems seamlessly! It works on both wide and regular mouth mason jars without needing to swap out adapters or mess with settings-just press down and click the Auto button. Plus, it's super compact, so it's easy to store in my pantry without taking up much space. Works great but doesn’t take the place of the pressure cooker canning.

Disappointed that it did not work on any of our Mason jars

I had seen these on social media and wasn’t excited about the price so I came looking here on Amazon. Found this one and glad I did. The versatility is great. I can use it on both sized canning jars, wide mouth and regular without a special attachment. Plus you can use it with the freezer bags with the attachment included. It says you can use it with FoodSaver bags but I haven’t tried it yet because I don’t have any. We do sou vide (sp?) bags too, so it’s nice to be able to use this quickly rather than getting out our traditional vacuum sealer machine. The motor works good, seems like it creates the right suction/seal. This is so much easier to store away food than traditional canning. Don’t get me wrong, traditional canning is still my go to for juices and stuff, but this is a great alternative for lots of other things…. And it’s easier. I was also surprised to see all the accessories it came with. No complaints so far.

I attempted to reseal a quart size jar 2 times. First, the existing seal. cleaned the jar rim; it would not seal the jar. Second attempt, used a new seal; it would not reseal the jar. not sure what to do??

Easy to use. Kept close to use after a jar is opened. Very easy to wash in dishwasher. We now have several quart jars displayed on countertop, with crackers, pretzels, nuts, raisins. We even use for opened cans of soups, fruits, tricky to use for liquids but they will keep a long time without spoiling (due to no air). Used for long and short storage time, but not for glass in freezer. We also have small wide mouth jars. Think dried fruits even. Tried it on mini-marshmellows, fun to watch as it seals, but not good to store them. Overall, easy to use, not heavy, great product for us...we are in our upper 70's.
