Works fantastic and reliable but a big pain to fit. I would recommend going on to YouTube to see how to install one of these units as it is a absolute pain to try and get it all to fit but other than the wiring it is very easy to use and cheap for what you get over all I would recommend for any a3/s3/rs3 owner it works perfectly in my 2014 s3

I have the MMI1 and this system works. Plenty of video outside of the instruction manual that came with it (English). It took me 5mins to connect and running but a good hour+ to actually do it right, by hiding the box and wires behind the glove box. Make sure you have the M8 (8mm) hex sprocket and bendy extender to make life easier. The volume dia, forward, back and mute works. The centre console dial and the 4 selection button works too - but the logic takes a few run to understand intuitively. The menu button brings it to menu, but the grid display rather than the main widget display. Still exploring what settings I can adjust for it to become more sensible. The steering wheel controls for volume works, but the voice button activates the Audi MMI navigator, rather than OK Google. The * button for mine was suppose to be skip, but it goes into Menu (Grid). Overall the cost and the ease of basically by pass the standard MMI for over the air Android Auto, this is brilliant - as long as you have some DIY know how. Otherwise take it to your local auto shop to pay extra for someone willing to do it.

Ottimo ho trasformato il mio vecchio mmi di prima generazione in uno con le funzioni dell ultimo! Il CarPlay è veloce stabile e non dà nessun problema...il montaggio in se è facilissimo grazie ai cavi appositi per a3 8v (basta scollegare gli originali e inserire i nuovi...fa praticamente da ponte tra l mmi e il monitor...unico neo il dover smontare il vano portaoggetti ma nn deriva dal dispositivo...davvero contento dell acquisto

The audio after connection doesn't play. Could anyone help with that? Edited - Fixed it ... the audio input for your car original system should be set to aux /external input. Otherwise it interferes with the car play bluetooth

Bonjour, Tout est plug and play aucune modification est nécessaire pour rajouter le boîtier au système de MMI de A3. La difficulté pour moi c'est de retirer l'ancienne poignée de coffre et ranger le boîtier et ses câbles derrière la boîte à gant. A part ça le résultat est TOP La caméra de recul est vraiment sympa. Mon A3 retrouve la jeunesse avec carplay et Android Auto. Le vendeur est réactif pour les questions.

Das CarPlay-System funktioniert wie es soll und ist eine super Erweiterung für Fahrzeuge, die ab Werk noch kein CarPlay unterstützen. Ich habe es in einem Audi RS3 (8V) Baujahr 2016 verbaut und bin damit sehr zufrieden! Lediglich die Grundeinstellung ist etwas suboptimal und man sollte einmal in dem UI der Box Anpassungen vornehmen. Der Einbau ist auch nicht ganz trivial, man sollte also zumindest etwas Fachkenntnis mitbringen oder es in einer Werkstatt einbauen lassen. Folgende Dinge sind mir positiv/negativ aufgefallen: + Integration ins Auto läuft super mit Steuerung über den MMI Dreh-/Touchknopf in der Mittelkonsole + Sehr gute Audioqualität (dank WLAN), deutlich besser als über Bluetooth! Gerade in Verbindung mit dem B&O System von Audi super, da man für gute Audioqualität nicht mehr auf SD Karten angewiesen ist + Hey Siri arbeitet zuverlässig und für Anrufe wird korrekt auf das Auto-Mikrofon zugegriffen + Wechsel zwischen dem System und dem Audi MMI super einfach und zuverlässig - Standardmäßig ist Musik sehr leise und Sprache super laut - muss man definitv Anpassen, da einem sonst, wenn bei lauter Musik eine Ansage kommt, die Ohren wegfliegen - Standardmäßig war bei mir ein Equalizer aktiv, der für etwas komische Audiowiedergabe gesorgt hat, das musste ich dann auch selbst auf "Standard"/ausgeschalteten EQ einstellen - Habe das System seit ca. 1-2 Wochen verbaut und einmal den Fall eines schwarzen Bildschirms, der dann aber mit Neustart des Fahrzeugs wieder behoben war. Alles in allem, vor allem für den Preis, eine super Lösung! Andere Deutsche Anbieter verlangen ja das 2-3-fache und ich bezweifle, dass deren Systeme besser funktionieren. Es gibt auch Support (aus China) mit etwas Verzögerung, aber bei Fragen kann man dort jemanden erreichen. Über Android Auto kann ich leider nichts sagen.
