Impressive powder!
I bought this Manic Panic white powder as make up for a Halloween costume. I originally bought it because it was cheap and I didn't really want to spend a whole lot of money on something I was only going to use once... but I'm completely impressed with this powder compact! The size of a normal compact case, this powder was sheer and light on my face. I used a sponge applicator instead of the powder puff that was included and it had immediate coverage of my skin. Two layers and you couldn't see my natural skin tone anymore. I used it over some white foundation, so your experience may be a little different if you don't use a base product, but you're going to love this powder anyway! For a sheer look, I'm now using it occasionally as a highlighter / contouring powder with a soft bristle make up brush. I'm just as impressed using it this way as I was when I had the heavy layers. It's lightweight and not cakey like other powders out there. Overall, a great value for some great pressed white powder.

Perfect for getting a very pale look
I purchased this many months ago for a vampire Halloween costume. I'm very fair-skinned naturally, so I was just looking for something that would get rid of the little bit of pink tone and make me nice and white. This worked beautifully. I used a fluffy blush brush to buff on a layer of the powder and it gave me a very pale finish without looking clown white. The coverage was even better than I would have hoped for, given that this is a powder. The great part was that it stayed on all day. In fact, I wore this on four separate occasions (two parties, Halloween night, and a wear-your-costume day at work) and it last all day and all night every time. If you're looking for a very opaque, bright white finish, like what you would get with white pancake makeup, this probably isn't the product for you. I did try applying it wet once just to see how heavy a coat I could get, and it was heavier but a little streaky. But if you're wanting a you-but-much-paler, almost natural look, this is the best that I've found. It also make a great matte highlighting powder for very fair skin tones.

Oh yes get this one!
I bought all of the manic panic white foundations in liquid and powder and cream powder form. To know which was the best. This is my favorite because it looks the least like costume and more natural and unnoticeable that its make up. So that's what was important to me. My second favorite is the Goth White cream powder foundation. My least favorite is the vegan white liquid foundation in the glass pump, i kept applying over n over n it wouldnt cover my skin. I am on the fair/beige/tan side and this Virgin Pressed White Powder helped make me look more pale without it being very noticeable. I didnt have to apply much. When I wash my hands I miight have to reapply some but I would go with this one if i was you!! Just hydrate you skin i have very dry skin in some areas and with every product I used it still caked up but in the spots i am smooth n hydrated it was marble almost porcelain perfection. Thank you manic panic!

Perfect for a porcelain redhead..
I am a VERY fair redhead who has combination skin. I have tried everything under the sun within many different price points. Just when I seem to find a product that works for me and is pale enough to match my complexion, it always seems to be discontinued. Most pressed powders I have found are much, much too dark and leave me with an orange cast to my skin tone. I have recently tried MAC Blot in Translucent, but it's $22 and creases in the t-zone area after several hours. I was a bit hesitant to try this, but I received it yesterday and I have loved it so far. It is very white, so I used a bit more blush than I normally would. I also didn't like the sponge applicator and used a spare fluffy one instead. It does blend quite well, but my suggestion would be to exfoliate well and moisturize prior to use. If you are a pale as paper redhead like myself who's tired of having an orange face, this is definitely a product to try. The seller packaged my item with care and was very speedy about the shipping. I will definitely buy more of this product from the seller. All in all, very pleased with the product and seller.

This product is wonderful! I was using the lightest shade of MAC ...
This product is wonderful! I was using the lightest shade of MAC before and it was still way too dark for me. SO now what I do is I use a layer of MAC studio fix powder and then I take a brush and apply this to my face until I have my desired lightness. I find that when I mix the two powders, manic panic and MAC, with one brush and apply it to my face that way that the makeup got cakey. IT really really looks nice though when you apply the white powder on top of a better quality powder. So if you buy this product, I would recommend you apply it that way. And I do encourage others to buy it! When I run out of it I will definitely buy it again. Very happy. Does exactly what it says it will. I use this for every day wear and usually only have to reapply it every 4-5 hours. It can definitely go longer though. All day if you really really need it to.

2012 1st USED, Now in 2021 still the same formula!
I'm so glad this powder is STILL being made after so long of me not using it for a while since I wanted to try other vegan, cruelty free make-up brands NOW I'm permanently back to it but unfortunately MP discontinued "Moonlight" pressed powder that was my #1 shade if I decide not use "Virgin" for a change! so here are my PROs & CONs: CONs: NOTHING! But moisturize your face before using this product IF you have dry prone skin like I do, otherwise it will show flaws, patches & discomfort sometimes I don't use face premier (currently looking), but exfoliate & moisturize your skin before applying I never had a problem with fading, I still continue to look white an hour before midnight! PROs: FULL COVERAGE! It covers my thick beard (at least on me), lasts long, Not 24 HRS but the end of the clubs, shows, etc. I recommend it!! Dear MP/ Tish & Snooky PLEASE DO NOT DISCONTINUE THIS PRODUCT!! I LOVE IT SO MUCH!!

Perfect for costumes, but not for daily wear
I bought this for a Halloween costume as well as daily wear. I have extremely fair skin, even makeup specifically made for paleskin/redheads is typically too dark for me. White out makeup tends to be the only thing light enough. I also bought this for my Halloween costume which involved white out skull makeup. For white out costume makeup, this is perfect! I also used Mehron white magic sticks (which is like an opaque white out stick foundation). This powder helped it actually set so that it was dry to the touch and lasted all night (7+ hours) with no touch up needed! It also evened out the white out makeup so that it looked totally smooth and streak free. I got compliments on it all night and I still have people asking me how I was able to achieve and completely dry, matte, shine free, even, streak free white base. This is ideal for costume makeup! I just wish I could say the same for daily wear :/ The color is perfect for my skin tone! It evens out my skin and helps lighten up my (always too dark) foundation. The HUGE problem is the texture/finish. Over a natural looking foundation or tinted moisturizer, this looks very cakey and artificial. It settles into pores very badly, making them look huge and dark. It almost gives you the appearance of having black heads in big pores, the exact opposite of what I am looking for in my daily makeup. It looks bad pretty much immediately upon application, and just looks cakier the longer you wear it. It also is so dry that it doesn't blend easily, and that is coming from someone with oily skin. It also sits heavy, it definitely feels like you are wearing a lot more makeup than you are. The sheer white color also seems to exacerbate the appearance of redness. So I would recommend this over any other powder for white out costume makeups like skulls, but for daily wear it just didn't work for me :/ Maybe someone with less redness and a normal (instead of oily) skin type could make better use of this.

Great for Halloween costume
I bought this for my Harley Quinn costume and it worked out great. The powder was lighter than putting a white cream on my face and was easy to touch up if needed (hardly ever had to once on). Good quality and did not irritate my sensitive skin. I recommend it.
