The King's Cup-Bearer Paperback

Not bad if you know what you're getting into, but don't go in expecting a fiction book like I did! This is more of a collection of short sermons/lessons from the book of Nehemiah, sprinkled with a lot of description and some slightly fictionalized retellings of the various events in the story--but definitely much more lesson than story. Once I figured that out, though, I was able to appreciate it much better. There were a few small points I took issue with, like an offhand comment about some families' "quivers" being "over-full" (according to the author, biblical quivers were only designed to hold four arrows), but most of the major points were solid. :)

I enjoyed this Kindle book very much....as it is from the Bible.....Take the time to read from your Bible as you read from the Kindle book....It is so enlightening as to God's Words and how He cares for us.

I love this book! It is based on the book of Nehemiah, but written in more of a story form with points of personal application woven in to each chapter. It seems very well researched and I learned a lot from it. I think it would make a great small group study!

Mrs. Walton is an exceptional writer. You don't find many so-called Christian's that have either her knowledge of Scripture or her personal testimony.
