Excellent replacement for our old PC.

Works great for my media server build. Runs cool and doesn't use a lot of power. The 245k's built in AV1 encoding is what sold me on this CPU. This saves me money from having to buy a discrete GPU and having to power a discrete GPU in a 24/7/365 situation.

I am using one of these in a Z890 Proart Motherboard, Intel x710 10gb ethernet, 16 port SAS HBA card with 96gb RAM and 13 26TB WD Red Pro and Gold Enterprise drives for a media server. Boot and cache drives are Samsung 9100 Pro drives. This 245k is just doing straight up file/media server duties and also hosts a Quickbooks company file. Way more then enough processing power for my needs.

It may be slightly slower than Intels previous generation and not as good as AMD's ryzen 5 but its extremely energy effiecent and runs a lot cooler. This new Intel architecture gets a lot more performance per watt and I like the direction Intel is heading. For its intended use case this cpu is more than fast enough. It will play any game you through at it without issues and handle everyday needs. Overall its just a solid mid range cpu.

Runs cool even with $40 air coolers. Pretty snappy. Installed in about 15 computers for a client and have had zero issues. Price was great when I bought them. Would recommend for business PCs or possibly even at home depending on what you're looking for and budget. I even have AI on in bios and NPU driver installed but not sure what if anything it's actually doing but I do not use the systems daily. Did not test much gaming or manual OCs so not sure how well they do. There's 10000 reviews for that on Google ;)

Been putting this off for a while now due to all the negative press around Intel Ultra CPU's, black Friday seemed to be a good time to buy as Intel Ultra 5 245K was £150, this was purchased with an Asus Prime B860M-A-CSM mother board, all went together well and the 245K preformed as expected, Idle power draw at 25.6w with two m.2 drives, full power draw of 185w, both wattages are from the plug not internal CPU wattages, performance mark was better that online with multi CPU at score 44988 and single CPU at 4876, CPU-Z came in at 10918 and 855 respectively, all the negative press is around gaming performance, my PC is for a CAD work station, and at this price this is quite good value for money with the CPU cost being so low.

Performance of the processor as expected with a good price

Szybki, niedrogi, ma niezłą zintegrowana grafikę. Gdyby byłby bardziej energooszczędny, to nie byłoby czego się czepiać. Trzeba pamiętać o dobrym chłodzeniu.

Very bad product box is open and damaged and not seal in processor and give no display and show red light while i cleaning I check this warranty it is used 2 months than they give me please don't buy if you you save your money and this is not returned
