I haven’t had it long enough to comment on long-term durability, but everything about the one I received feels solid and the quality is what I expected. Small details - The compact size is nice, and I like that it doesn’t take up much room. The packaging was also very nice, as Apple packaging usually is. Shipping was extremely fast and everything arrived exactly as expected. Things to know - Price is really the main thing I would consider before buying this. I got mine on sale, so I’m happy with what I paid. At the regular price, though, I would have a harder time justifying it when there are so many other well-reviewed USB-C charging blocks available for less. I also wish Apple included a power adapter with more of its chargers instead of making you purchase the cable and charging block separately. Buying both separately can make a pretty basic charging setup more expensive than it needs to be. Bottom line - At the sale price I paid, I’m very happy with it. It works exactly as intended, looks good, feels well made, and I have no complaints about its actual performance. At full price I would probably compare it more closely with some of the less expensive options, but on sale I think it was a good purchase and I’d buy it again.

It works perfectly. Great price. My iPhone charges quickly too. I wish the adapter was smaller. It’s almost the same size is my AirPod case. It takes up room and blocks from plugging anything else next to it. Otherwise, I recommend this adapter.

I have two of these and hopefully will remember not to purchase any more. I’ve stayed with Apple OEM products in the past, but have decided to now stop that, if the replacement product is better than the original. My recommendation is to look for this: Anker B2692 and it should be about twenty five doll hairs, the problem is that the Apple charger has safety circuitry which limits the wattage. Therefore, I have devices which charge slowly even though they are using an appropriate cable and wall wart. I’m purchasing my second Anker item right now, along with a good 10 foot cable. Great for bedside.
