I bought this Stanley box for $20, and it is well worth it. I have a smaller 16” box of similar design, but have out grown it. It contains my electrical support stuff. Upon buying a new toy, I discovered my 16” box was too small. I looked for something larger and found this 19” box that was wider and deeper as well. This box works great. It swallowed up the contents of the smaller box with room to grow. The storage areas on top of the lid were also larger, allowing for better arrangement of the smaller items like connectors and screws. Seems to be sturdy (as far as plastic boxes go). Time will tell. Overall, glad I found this box.

I needed a lock box for my grandsons "treasures" aka Pokémon cards and such... Lol This works perfectly. Nice and sturdy. Big, but not too heavy for him. Has a spot to add a lock. Closes tightly and has compartments.

Very sturdy for a plastic tool box. Latches fasten and unfasten easily without excess "play." Roomy enough to hold basic tools (hammer, pliers, screwdrivers, tape measure, stapler) and some supplies (tape, multimeter, staples). The compartments in the lid were large enough to hold a 10ft tape measure, wire nuts, drill bits for the Dremel and a box of brad nails. The tray does not extend the full length of the tool box and can be positioned flush with either end of the box. Tray seats securely and does not shift or rattle. Easy to lift and carry when loaded. Small enough to store out of the way. Supplier shipped super fast and item was delivered a week sooner than Amazon had estimated!! Was well packed in an appropriate sized box. Would definitely do business with this seller again.

The Stanley brand never fails. This toolbox is larger and better built than expected. Plus a super value.

I gave this box filled with sewing items for a beginning sewing at Christmas. It was her favorite gift. Not to mention, her daddy loved the idea of his little girl having a this box as a sewing kit. Lol.

Looking at the good reviews I decided that even if I hated this box it wouldn't set me back enough to really make me upset. I am no tool box purist so I don't care about the difference between metal and plastic. All I wanted was something relatively sturdy, inexpensive, and could hold my meager assortment of tools. I was thrilled with how large it really is once I got it but once I loaded it and used it for awhile I found some positives and negatives. First is the positives. The plastic is actually thick and feels quite sturdy as my toe could tell you when I mistakenly left it out. I love the twin compartments on top for the miscellaneous screws, zip ties, and odd assortments I seem to find myself accumulating. The inside tray is nice but really doesn't hold much because it is so shallow. The place for a lock is a nice touch on such a cheap (in cost) box, though I don't think it will fit even a standard padlock so I would recommend a nice luggage lock. Now for the negatives. There is really only one for me but it could be enough to change how I use this if I get a few more tools. I wish the interior did not taper so drastically, or at all. The storage space is drastically reduced because of it and sadly this makes it way more cluttered than it should be. I have a cheap cordless drill type electric screwdriver and even though it is not very large, it doesn't sit well in the bottom. Yes I know most of those things have their own cases but mine does not. Toss in a few manual screwdrivers, a mini screwdriver set, a pair of heavy needle nose pliers, a medium sized wrench and the whole thing is practically full and annoying to find one tool in the menagerie. What keeps my rating from dropping is the fact this could be quite an amazing box for something other than tools. This would be amazing for something like a light weight and portable medical kit, a nice hobby kit or even spectacularly as a kids lego storage. It's strength really lies in its versatility but I would hesitate to recommend as an actual tool box unless you have either very few tools, or you have no bulky and oddly shaped tools. tl;dr - Less useful for tools but versatile enough for a variety of purposes. Very sturdy but light enough to be portable.

I really like my new Stanley toolbox. It's spacious, sturdy and holds my heavy tools perfectly. The small compartment that sits on top holds all my small necessary items. I'm happy with my choice.

I bought this with a bunch of other tools to be sent to my sister’s house when I came for a visit so I could do some home repairs. The tool box was able to hold all the tools, but for some reason- STANLEY will not use a full size tool tray, this is my 2nd Stanley toolbox purchase and both had a tray that is half the size of the box- I think they do this to save money and tell the public that a half size tray allows you to store a large item and still close the box. - I used it for a week, the quality is very good it seems strong and sturdy, able to close and lock without difficulty, but know that when you purchase, you are NOT getting a full size tool tray.

I've been keeping various tools / screws etc. on a shelf in my cupboard lying around haphazardly for years, but finally decided to man up and grab an *actual* tool box. This thing is great, it's quite large (but not ridiculous) and has more than enough room for multiple tools. It's got an insert inside to stash your screwdrivers, and the top compartments (divided into two sections each) are a great place to store extra screws, washers, bolts, anchors etc. It seems solidly built, and is just about the perfect compromise in size between huge pro toolboxes and useless compact ones. light enough to carry around with a ton of tools, and big enough to store things with space to spare, this is a great toolbox!

Came quickly and in good condition. It is a nice size. Comes with a tray inside for smaller items. The tray isn't as long as the toolbox itself. It would be nice if that tray could slide from side to side but you have to lift it up and then move it.

I love this toolbox. I use it to put all my medical stuff in. It makes it compact and I know exactly where to go to find bandages, etc. Great compartments too and holds a great deal of items.
